So, sadly those respiratory diseases have little to do with diesel cars. In fact saying that someone smells like firewood is a racist dog whistle.

I have to agree, my grandma was very racist and she was born in Antigua. She also died a few years ago taking the Mayan language with her.

Please don’t generalize some peoples’ behaviors to represent those of everyone in the country, it’s EXTREMELY insulting. Having been in Antigua I’m sure you noticed some of your generalizations don’t apply. Videos and comments like these unfortunately misrepresent all of Guatemala….especially for people who are not familiar with our culture, who have not traveled there, or who have only been to one or two areas in this country. It’s one thing to say, “I noticed there was a lot of trash in “X” area(s), etc…”….it’s very unfortunate to hear and see videos as these which those who have not traveled there will take to be factual of the entire country.

This is very impressive, I would definitely want to have such experience in my life!
