Hay... 65 year old James..the mason ( 35 yrs of Masonry).. I remember 1980 driving home as an apprentice in a very old truck listening to the am radio.. He stopped loving her today was brand new and I caught it on the radio..I remember I said to myself... That Is A Hit!!!... Well.. Mr Clyde Mattocks on the steel a North Carolina treasure. I think i was a tennager the first time Mr Mattocks came to our house to make music. My dad was a fiddle player and played in bands. This is how it would go. The call would go out, want to get together and pick some..... You never knew what you or who would show. From a piano out of suitcase to two steel players to double fiddles.
