You need to go to Afghanistan and maybe also learn Pashto if possible. Afghanistan will open doors. I do feel Pakistan is going downhill in terms of politics and security. I've experienced harassment in Pakistan since I spoke Pashto but that's only from people in the airport and people at check points. Pakistanis in general like 99.9% of Muslims and people in general are good people.
