I Just Have To Do It!

Hi everyone well I finally finished my potatoes for the season. This is a controversial way of canning (dry canning) but I’ve been doing it for a couple of years.
Make sure you do your research first. I find this way much easier and much tastier and they last on the shelf for up to a year because we eat them by then. 
So, if potatoes go on sale if you’re not growing them that’s a perfect thing to do you won’t regret it! In fact, I’m waiting for them to go on sale because I didn’t grow enough to get us through the entire winter.

Yes, I didn’t get as much as I usually do but I’m definitely going to keep my eye open for when potatoes go on sale and can them up. They are so convenient throughout the winter.
