I was recently let go after over 2 years working with hospice. I was told in my exit meeting that, "I have one purpose, and one purpose only." Another reason I was let go is because I am an entrepreneur and not fully into the business. That is not me. Both families and patients would talk to with me, and that is what they want, someone who will listen to them. I've had families cry and thank me for giving them the company they needed. As far back as I remember, people gravitate to me and will talk, open up. People want to someone who will listen to them, be at their level, and simply be empathetic. A few people told me that I am very easy to talk to, and that I have an aura around me.
