Dear Creative Assembly. Outstanding work! I'm not ashamed to say that, as the credits started to roll, even with three hundred people watching, I just broke down and cried. Just overwhelmed with relief that the ordeal was finally over. You've understood what made Alien so terrifying. And you've created a world so rich in detail and so faithful to the source material, that it was a pleasure to experience. That was one hell of an emotional roller coaster. Thank you!

It's quite simple really. Xenomorphs don't have the ability to see. The locate their prey using smell and sound. Once you realize that, the xenomorph segments become so much easier in this game because of how Creative Assembly paid attention to xenomorph biology when programming th he AI.

Since people were comparing this to the pewdiepie playthrough, I decided to play the endings on both channels simultaneously. Man, Am I so glad I experienced the game through here first. The level of immersion you provided through the whole 8 episodes was surreal. Rather than bland commentary about how the game looks like to an outsider, we're able to take part in your immersion and connect to the game in ways I might have not been able to do even if I played the game myself. Your various breakdowns like the first time the xeno caught you, your hysterical laughs whenever you just managed to avoid getting detected and that brutal ending really shook me up. Honestly Womble, God bless you for doing this series. It was quite honestly, art. It was human. The fear you felt was genuine, and you genuinely cared about every other survivor. You became immersed, and gave us surreal experience. Even at the end, you ran through the same thoughts that Ripley was having: Open the airlock, save the ship. And you cried at the realization that in the end, you still died. But you had to, and it was honestly beautiful. You're a very funny guy, but I would like to see more of stuff like this. Its human, and I think that is something we could all do with more of in our lives.

I don't know, H20Delirious' reactions seemed genuine. I think the reaction lies in the individual. Markiplier, Jacksepticeye and H20 (as examples) play horror games regularly. After a while, they became numb to atmospheric fear and only responded to jump scares. Where as Soviet, who doesn't play horror games and is not good with horror games, is constantly on edge and scared as he becomes fully immersed in the story. That's why his jump scares stay with him even after the event is over. It's like comparing a horror movie fan to a horror movie avoider. The Fan is going to critique the scares and be impressed when they make them jump. Where as the avoider is screaming and covering their face in the movie. Jack, Mark, Delirious are Fans. Soviet is an avoider. (I hope my analogy makes sense.)

+Alex Ringer No, Ripley was impregnated. The aliens didn't attack her earlier, after taking a moment to "smell" her. But when do they attack her? When she's on the station releasing the manual locks, or just entering Verlaine's ship. Both times, she was wearing something that would have sealed her smell away- the EVA suit. That's why the alien took so long to attack at the end. It wasn't sure.

In my own opinion, what makes this game so amazing is the fact it doesn't rely solely on jump scares- more than anything it's psychological. Every noise you hear, or every blip you see on your motion tracker has you wondering if it's the alien. It plays on your fear of the unseen and when you've got the alien in your sights it makes you wonder "can it see me too?" When you encounter other survivors you're asking yourself, are they hostile. And the thing that sets this game apart from almost any other survival horror is the aliens ability to adapt, and the fact it's unscripted. Every encounter with it, it's analyzing your moves. If you throw a noise maker, and run away, a future encounter it will learn to ignore them and follow you. If you hide in lockers like I do it will learn to open them. And the ending, while being semi anti climactic, is perfect because it forces you to really think and weigh the options of what could have happened, is she alive, dead, did the alien infect her. Anyway that's all I've got for now

This series was brilliant. It's 4 AM and I've got work in a few hours and I don't even care.(which has nothing to do with being unable to sleep after this) It was also pretty crazy seeing this... journey, I guess. That sounds kinda over dramatic but it really wasn't, there were up and downs and a metric fuck ton of swears in between. Anyway, thanks for the great content, and fuck Cyanide.

Just rewatched the entire series and every time I see the end it always reminds me of just how real your reactions to this game were, and that you weren't trying to force anything as you streamed. The ending where you just broke down because it was over is always really powerful, and this is something you don't normally see from big horror youtubers. I found you from the Bullshittery videos, but this series right here makes you one of my favorite youtubers out there, you're just so real, you didn't try to force comedy or anything, this was raw emotion that you were feeling.

I just watched the entirety of this series in one go - absolutely one of the best playthroughs of any game I've ever seen. The immersion, the excitement, quality on the game's part to boot. Amazing.

Only thing actually bad I can say about this game is, its a HUGE cliff hanger. Does Ripley get saved? Does she die? Do the aliens infect the others? Was the ship already infected?

+ZeZy Personally, I rather think it's a point in it's favor. Some happy endings are in the franchise, but somehow the horror seems stronger if it's inescapable. Even right at the end when you think you're safe, a hand reaches out to pull you back in, sort of thing.

I didn't want the series to end. This is such an entertaining and enjoyable playthrough. Soviet was 100% immersed, and genuinely terrified all the way through. The heavy breathing, the panic giggling, shaking hands. I don't know how much Soviet actually enjoyed playing the game, but it was quite an experience I'm sure.

Womble, I've been watching your stuff for years. I bought this game because of you and I can't even finish it. I'm a horror film enthusiast and the Alien series is one of my all time favorites but something about this particular game unhinges me every time. I have mad respect for you actually completing this game. Now, if only we had Outlast Part 2...

By far the most engaging and imersive playthrough of anything I've ever seen. I've watched other horror games being played, and even ones with lots of story haven't had players who can make me feel like they are actually in these situations. You have got some quality content dude, I am absolutely subscribing. I also can't describe how much editing like this channel has helps make a game more engaging to watch.
