Join us on THE FARM today as we sell some horses. Emily our Niece comes to town to buy some horses. What will she buy and then take home and do a little horse training on to make a profit? Find out! We also teach you about irrigation. We have had alot of questions as to why we put water on our land. We take you to all our horse pastures and show you exactly how we water the land to help grass grow so we can feed our animals. Our stud horse 66 even makes an appearance in todays video!

I have the coolest picture of a bunch of buzzards on a fence line after a big rain storm doing the same thing. Really cool to see for sure.

I love it how children are learning by doing to get into the horse business. And they are not to young people!! I was riding the racehorses off the track with 8 year's. This is the right age to start!! She can ask her Dead, but Amily look's very responsible and she is learning to work for the things she want. That is brilliant!! I really love it!! You go girl!!!🐎🐎🐎 You will get a good horse for you that will stay for you it's whole life!!

This video was SO interesting to me being from Southwest Virginia Mountains, we have plenty of water. We do have dry times, but nothing that you have to deal with. Amazing what you have to do to get water from one pasture to another. Thanks for showing the turkey vulture!! They are my favorite. 66 is a BEAUTIFUL horse! You are the best Uncle ever for helping your Niece. By helping her get young horses to train with the help of her Dad. She will learn so much with you encouraging her passion!! Allen LOVE what you are doing for Emily !!

We used to have tri state irrigation ditches in nebr..you had to drive the road and set s pipe tubes..we used to pile in the pick up truck, take turns driving ( on any adults lap..lol then next to them..thats how we learned to drive, we swam..we held match races with horses down the ditch road..( i had an ugly little gelding..he was fast ..i won If HE wanted to. OR .he would be almost to the finish..stop..lay down ..not get up..we could never break him of it..he was just a jerk. Go all day some days, others..see you coming the lay down not get up..those were fun times growing up

Turkey vultures are solar powered. That's why it was sitting on top of the pole with its wings spread--soaking up the rays.

Hahahaha! I totally made that up, right? Just doing a little leg pulling. Then I went and looked it up. I was right! lol, I can't believe it! How funny! But, I also learned that the ultraviolet light in the sun's rays kills bacteria and vermin on the vulture's feathers, which is important because they eat carrion a lot.

Over seating doesn’t work great our ground is clear Lake so you really need to work the land to get the seats to go down in the last time we did the pasture behind our house was about eight years ago it’s due for another time but that means a season of no grass so we’ve been holding off but we probably need to look at it and it will help some. And yes Blake is taller than dad

We have lots of turkey vultures where I live in Northern CA. and I see them expanding their wings as the one did in your video. I thought at first when I saw them that they were trying to impress a potential girlfriend, but they are actually trying to get warm and that's why you see them expanding their wings.
