I totally agree with you, I only ordered a couple items off of fashion nova, but I have decided over the years to detach from cheap material and more sustainable and 1 item material. Don't get me wrong, it's way more expensive but it feels way better to use clothes with 1 material instead of mixed. The quality is also higher and I'm much happier with that.

Yeah it's not ideal. I think it's human nature, the difference between me and most other people online is I'm jut honest about it and sharing it. It's hard to watch your body change after babies, but I've been taking better care of my body and I'm feeling better each day!

Also, i got something in the mail not long ago, about 3 months ago stating that fashion nova and other brands i used to buy theough, was in a lawsuit. I'm not sure if it was true or not, but they were getting sued for over pricing their clothes and selling private info to other sites.

Your body looks amazinggg! My second is over one year old now, and I am lighter than pre baby’s by a few pounds but I can still easily look pregggggo if I’m not engaging my core and having good posture/bloated or whatever. It’s just a normal thing so don’t let it get you down.

haha we're in the same spot dude! I'm almost 6 months PP and have two under two. We'll get there. Takes time. I'm starting to get into a good routine with the gym and my clean eating and stuff, so that has felt very good and been very refreshing. What our bodies just did is amazing. So we GET to dress like frumpy old men and be comfy!!

Yeah it's hard to tell. There are some review sites online that can help guide you, like Trust Pilot. I was about to order from Lane 201... and I looked it up and compared to Priceless for instance, it had HORRIBLE reviews so I didn't order!

I agree with you , Im going to stop shopping at cheap clothing stores. I notice that all my clothes just aren’t lasting and there’s things falling apart. Things I just bought as well so it’s frustrating. I have a few older sisters and they like to give me some hand me downs and those are lasting longer than clothes I bought myself! So yea I’m on the same journey, I recently bought some really nice agolde jeans , they look really nice and heard it’s a good brand so I’ll have to wait and see! Got it at neiman Marcus, for around 60 bucks so not bad. Usually the price of a set a jeans anyway, original was like almost 200. So good deal!

I shop on Torrid and I do not consider their prices cheap at all, but of course the quality is and the sizing is inconsistent even with simple t shirts!! It's just ridiculous what's going on with everything today costing both arms and legs but only worth a toe!!

All I’ve bought from Fashion Nova were leggings while I was preggo & while they are cheap they were comfy & the fit was very nice. Their materials are thin & cheap tho & they get holes pretty easily. Tbh Old Navy is where it’s at with leggings, high quality material & actually high waist I’m 5’8” & they’re my go to!

I tried returning or swapping some swimsuits because the tops were either too big or too small and they were the same letter size, they wouldn’t let me and it was within a week of receiving my packages. Please don't feel bad about the way you look. Although I completely understand since my body has changes so much since now I'm 40 with hormonal changes even though I didn't have kids myself. You're super hot no matter 20 pounds or not. You're healthy and have to healthy children, a husband that loves you, adorable healthy pets and animals and from what I've seen when you workout and eat well you drop weight pretty easy with work. You are a great, mom, wife, daughter, friend and love animals. You should love yourself for all those things. Let your tummy hang out! That tummy is what housed your babies and let them come into to this world healthy. I hate that there is so much pressure on women to have super flat stomachs when we really aren't made to. Love your body and know with consistency you'll look better than ever but in the meantime, there is nothing wrong with it.

Thank you so much for the kind words. That's so sweet and you're so right!! For me it comes down to quality of life - like when my kitchen is dirty or my home is cluttered, it is uncomfortable to me. Same thing for me when I don't fit in any of my clothes. 🥲 makes me feel so uncomfortable and unhappy. But I do also need to work on being more kind to myself as I have just had two children back to back and i've been so freaking busy!! I'm finally starting to find my new groove with two kids, since Harlow is now in daycare and wyatt is with our awesome neighbor a few times a week. It's been feeling good. But your'e right, there is a lot of pressure to look perfect like everyone you see online! It can be very motivational, but also hard to subconsciously try to live up to.
