This kid was an effing prodigy--fresh out of a small town in California who was so talented that he got the part WRITTEN FOR HIM during auditions, gave it 110% in every episode dancing and singing his heart out, acted alongside Darren Criss in one of the sweetest love stories on the show (before they ruined it with Season 5) got to write a whole-ass episode for the show...and still had to play second fiddle to Rachel Berry/Lea Michele. I'd say he deserved better but today he's a bestselling author who still does awesome things, so I think he's fine.

I´m in my 40s and Kurt is in my opinion one of the best TV-Characters I´ve ever seen. He´s iconic. Like J.R. Ewing (Dallas), Alexis (Dynasty), Nellie Oleson ( Little House...) Fran ("The Nanny). I love his voice, his songs in the show, his storylines. He´s not the leading actor in "Glee". But he makes for me "Glee" to "GLEE".

Being Alive is a strong contender for Chris’ best song but what it doesn’t include is all the emotional context that we get in Everything’s CoMing Up Kurt so it’s difficult for me to decide… TBH, almost anything and everything that CC/KM does on Glee I (personally) find to be wondrous & everybody else needs to strive to reach his level so let’s say I might be slightly biased.
