The times the VIP died before and it didn't end the game are because the Town killed the VIP. Either by hanging them or by a Jailor execution. That killed all remaining Town members and the evil factions battled it out for the win.

for everyone confused why marshal is so op: marshal comes from modded tos and in there this role is hard balanced by the judge role (a neutral evil role who has the ability to call court once per game during the day; this ability will heavily disrupt the town's communications, as all chat and voting will become anonymous; as well as this, the judge gains 3 votes), so marshal's actions don't necessarily go unpunished, and they have to take judge heavily into consideration before doing anything. the inclusion of the role was supposed to symbolize the support for the community and the better tos mod itself, but it just didn't come out well. the intentions were good though!

I actually really like that. Even if it needs a little bit of tweaking maybe, it's cool to see the roles being mixed up every now and then, especially if they're getting inspiration from mods of their own game. Maybe town votes up 3, marshal chooses one to kill, and then the other two are jailed by the marshal for the night? Idk, something less powerful though lol

​@@idman4081yea, I feel like it could be nerfed somehow, but I think that suggestion would kinda be more op, in that scenario it's essentially a prosecutor and 2 escorts all in one it's a good idea but I feel like it might make those roles feel obsolete too

@@samjeffy03 True, but it's a one time use, and escort blocking can be pretty bad for the coven if they do get a baddie and no kills happen, but not nearly as bad as just dying. The other idea I had was killing two people instead of three. Actually, if you combine my two suggestions, so two get voted by town, marshal kills one and RB's the other, that could be more balanced without drastically nerfing the role. But yeah, it's hard to come up with something that keeps the spirit of the role while still keeping it balanced.

It only SEEMS OP because they've gotten lucky and gotten multiple bad roles every time. They could just as easily hang three Town and lose themselves the game immediately as well. It's balanced by being high risk, high reward, not by having the Judge in the game.

@@morgantaylor84 not really, tbh. Like you do need to get lucky, don't get me wrong, but it's not nearly as bad for the town as it is for the baddies. It's the same as getting locked in a 50/50: town doesn't care about losing 1 person out of like 6. At the same time, neutrals will lose instantly, and the Coven will get majorly fucked if even just 1 member is voted. And in these lobbies it's usually something like 6 Townies to 5 members of other factions, which basically means a 50/50 chance of hitting a bad guy anyway, so why wouldn't Townies just go ham on it Yeah, you can get really unlucky and vote out say Jester, Exe target and a Townie in rapid succession, with the winning neutrals choosing to take down Townies as well (actually, idk if they can only Torment/Haunt the Marshall in this situation), but it's not nearly as likely as consistently getting out 1 or 2 baddies What I do think is that it feels like all the non-Townies shrink back really hard when a Tribunal starts, which is clearly a wrong strategy. With the mob votes and zero second thoughts, the Coven should just swarm the first person they see basically, as the first person who gets 3+ votes is as good as gone. I know it might look sus later, but they don't seem to be looking too much into these votes anyways. It's free real state, as far as I tell But yeah, the Tribunals are really scary and mostly don't involve ANY critical thinking, just voting out for the sake of voting out. It's okay every once in a while, but having 3 people kicked out of the game like that in rapid succession does feel a little... too RNG-based for my liking TL;DR Tribunals are much more beneficial to the Town and pretty detrimental to the baddies while also not being particularly fun to watch because it's basically random votes that don't involve any actual observations, proof or information sharing

Ackshually, it's not technically fossilised, sunce that would take more than 10 years lol, but yes, if you let food with preservatives sit and dry quickly, they'll stay for a long ass time. I wouldn't eat it, but you can definitely save it on a shelf if that's what you want. As long as it doesn't get wet again it'll be fine.

I wouldn't call it a tell because it's not 100% but it is common that when Chilled is bad he suddenly forgets what jokes are and becomes horrified by any attempts at humor or weirdness. It's a lot of "idk about that," or "that makes me uncomfortable," and "idk wtf you are." Lol, but I also think his reaction was maybe because he does get disproportionately killed/thrown out in this game regardless of his role or evidence. But idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe just an off day.

More often than not I realize that if you throw sus on Vik, Chilled's or Ze's name, then they get pressed hard compared to others if not immedietely shot by vigi, prosecutor or deputy.

@@Caches It's kinda weird that Kara wouldn't get that it doesn't take a VALID sus directed at them, all it takes is being the one singled out, considering food/giggle theory exists, when directed at her. It's like people don't recognize it happen just because it's not triggered by a keyword like; "Let's get silly"/"When in doubt"

Yeah I can’t think of a scenario where coven wins in the second game, town was pretty stacked. The only way they could have stalled it was probably to vote Chilled, cause claiming you selfed when there’s a Neutral Killing left is pretty weak. Or at least do a 1f1 between Chilled and Ze (Chilled first) cause if I was actually a good vigi, I think I would’ve still shot 😂 It’s also not really a good idea to shoot someone two nights in a row when they’re immune the first night, unless you have a Coven Leader but wouldn’t matter anyways if there’s a Trapper and a Bodyguard.
