Incredible video! My brain is now INFORMED! I actually busted out my authentic F/A-18A/B/C/D pocket checklist to see about the Hornets specific procedures! I couldn’t find much though, more on mid-flight engine restarts which would ideally be your first method of action. Definitely nothing on bird strikes in here it seems! New sub❤️

Thank you, and yes the relight procedure would be the normal go-to, but I figured the catastrophic nature of the engine loss lead to the obvious abandonment of that avenue!

No idea that Snoop Dogg could fly a plane. Like what you did with the birds. LOL

Excellent video yet again! Really great details and real-world knowledge and aviation issues you just see in other sim aviation videos. Very informative - thank you! How do you turn on bird-strikes in flight simulator?
@tallymouse9 ай бұрын
Thank you! In MSFS, when you are setting up your flight, you can click on the aircraft in the top left, and it'll open up a new menu. In there, you can set failures, such as "engine failure" to happen between two times (in minutes). The birds themselves were added during editing.
