That's what I do for my greens like collards, turnips, mustards I will pick a spot in my garden and just sprinkle some seed in and one they germinate and get about three big size leaves on them I then pull them up and set them out in another spot I call it my hot bed cause that's what my grandparents did and it works really good.💯❤️🙏

OKRA ABSOLUTELY HATES COLD TEMPS AND IF THE SOIL ISNT UP TO A CERTAIN TEMPERATURE OKRA WILL NOT GERMINATE

Do you have a post hole digger? I say, try again this time make a post hole in the bed, back fill with fresh potting soil, then plant your seed. Fertilizer, I use Miracle Grow, only put a bit into an entire watering can. Then fertilize. In my garden, this method gives me a higher rate of growth.

Caution of liquid fertilizers. A tip I heard was whatever the label says to use use a quarter or half of that amount to start as these companies want you to use the max amount to sell more.

I'm struggling with my okra. They were so green and tall....after a rainstorm they started looking like a weeping willow. Now they're turning yellow. I use burpees natural and organic tomato and vegetable water soluble plant food. I don't think I used too much...but this is my first time growing in containers or planting okra. First time gardening. Help!!

Hey brother i tell you that the same thing happened to me a few days ago with some of my watermelon plants...i put some blood meal down and didn't water it in...and it sat on top of some of my watermelon leaves and they were gone

You can, I've grown Clemson spineless and burgundy okra in 18 gallon plastic totes and 10 gallon grow bags. We got a harvest, but you'll get more the bigger the size of your pot. This year I'm growing those 2 varieties and a few more in containers, BUT you need to only put 1 plant per container if you don't have really big pots.

Mr. King your okra was too small to have fertilizer so soon. Also you look like you have spliny okra like me. My neighbor and I had to plant okra twice, and we had plants. The weather was too cool also.
