About a week ago, I posted a snippet of me singing this song to TikTok. 200k views and hundreds of comments begging for me to release a full version later, here we are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love you've all been showing me lately.
I hope you enjoy this full version of one of my favourite songs. I wanted to hold onto the excitement of the original while changing some of the lyrics to feel more romantic, gentle, sincere. As a queer person, hearing songs openly discussing queer affection is still incredibly rare. I guess that's why so many of you resonated with the TikTok! I'm honoured. Hopefully one day hearing queer love stories in music will be beautifully ubiquitous x

I really like this cover. It's soft tone and small lyrical change makes it sound like a guy who just had his first kiss with another guy but he regrets it. Then as he keeps remembering how it happened and how he feels (Mabey at a party or something) he keeps having an inner debate with himself on what this kiss ment and on how this other man and his actions and words affected him. Then near the last verse is when he begins to accept what happens. That his feelings are real and he lets out an explosion of emotions. (By the high note)

Dari made this already, but you adding your own twist into the lyrics and changing the complete vibe of this song. I do like it alot. Dari took the song, made it a bit different, if i should speak about the lyrics part. For the music, he didn't changed it, so it's still lively as the original. But i like that you didn't done basically the same. You took the song and done the lyrics a different, yet the same. You made greater changes in the text, but still keep it same enough to the original, and you did that very well. Now for the music, that's completly something different. You made it more... i don't know how do i say it. English isn't my 1st language, so there's that. But it's like more emotional, i guess that's the word i'm looking for. So yeah, you did a great job and i like it, especially your voice with those high notes, incredible. I will look on more of your stuff surely. That's all i have, so have nice rest of the day. ❤❤
