It’s hard because you really have been traumatized. Even after turning your life around, getting an education & joining the program, there is still this fear that you are gonna respond to a situation completely inappropriate to who you are today. It haunts you and there really is no one that you can talk to about it because: 1) they would never believe you if you told what you came from. 2) very few ever really achieve the turnaround that you have. You really got to take it day by day, but the memory of violence never really leaves you

Reggie Wright said 2Pac DID NOT know about Orlando Anderson's full reputation as a shooter before he jumped him - 2Pac just knew about the gang affiliation & the chain snatching incident. That was the last interesting thing left to me after 25 years; 2Pac didn't fully understand that he signed his own death warrant when he did it.

I really think that's what pac wanted I think pac was tired of life a long time ago so he picked fights with real serious people so one of them can kill him instead of him killing himself he talked about it a lot in his raps it's one that always stuck with me since a kid when he said my every move is a calculated step to get me close to embrace a early death now there's nothing left. Now I know why he was beefing with so many real killers and why he was telling everybody he wasn't gone be here for long he knew somebody was gonna take him out one of these days

I always think of how disappointed and ashamed our glorious icons and civil rights activists, such as Rosa Parks, MLK, Malcolm X, Lewis and the ones before them, would have been of us because we are not fighting to advance anything but killing ourselves over nonsense. Tragic!

I agree with Eiht. If they wouldn’t have gotten Tupac and Suge that night in Vegas they definitely would have gotten them back in Compton. It was just Tupac fate to get shot that night in Vegas. You can’t continue to live recklessly and not think that it won’t catch up to you sooner or later. Tupac should have thought twice about going at a known gang banger. Like the old saying goes, you might think your tough, but their is always somebody that’s tougher. RIP TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR

From shooting them off duty crooked cops in Atlanta to reaching for his twin glocks during the Quad studios shooting, he was far from a punk. That being said, he was still a music ARTIST in the midst of hardcore gangbangers and criminals. I love 2pac, but like Mopreme said he was loyal to a fault. He was SUPER passionate and that passion is what led him to rush Orlando Anderson. 2pac was down to help his Piru homie Trayvon, but Orlando was a REAL deal killer that was already under investigation for murders, so at the end of the day 2pac was just too deep in the midst of real killers in my opinion.

After hours after that "accidentally" they were driving on the same street and "accidentally" heard girls screaming at 2pac right at the time they were passing by. And after they saw them, "accidentally" was a red light and " accidentally" opened lane next to them but there were cars infront of them, left of them and behind them. 🤔

Orlando was a known shooter, After 20 FOIA request he was Wanted/Wanted for Questioning/Suspected/Involved in 16 shootings around LA, LAPD and 3 other local agencies suspected him in many shootings and murders, He was not stupid either, he was very bright, staying a step ahead of investigators, NOT known locally as a respected NO-Nonsense shooter, He was known all around LA, His family we kingpins in the drugtrade moving kilos out of LA to all over the country and all through LA, So they were well connected all over LA, So there's no way Suge didn't know to walk away from war with Kefe Ds nephew. HE KNEW!! You jump him, someone is gonna die. But it was only HOURs later. SAD

Watching M.C Eiht’s interviews over the years, you can tell he wasn’t a big fan of 2Pacs. He doesn’t say anything disrespectful, but you can tell he felt Pac was playing a character. He does a lot of, not necessarily dissing, but, you can tell he wasn’t feeling Pac like that. IMO, of course.

Yall gotta remember Pac is from the east coast. No matter how much Cali embraced him he was not homegrown. It's not that he dislike Pac, it's that Pac showed up years after these guys were already banging as shorties and hopped in. He was playing real life games as a superstar but it couldn't save him. Some of them guys had little other options because they was from there. He moved there as an adult and chose it. HUGE DIFFERENCE.

People say that because that in fact was his background. A lot of his fans don’t want to think of him outside of this tough guy. Pac claimed the west coast when in fact he grew up in Baltimore and New York. He went to Baltimore school for the arts which is where he met jada, and did dance and acting. He didn’t develop the tough guy persona until he got with death row before that he was borderline conscious. Just like when people say well he shot 2 cops he was a child of the panther movement but let’s think of the time he went to jail for a rape that still ain’t confirmed but y’all believe he got of with shooting 2 cops as a black man and nothing happened.

If I had been in the position of a Tupac in 1996 I would have had people deal with Orlando not directly kinda like what puffy did with pac or what suge did with biggie pac should have thought of himself as a capo instead of a soldier that was his fatal mistake

It's not the same. There is a whole different life when your grand daddy and great granddaddy were in the same gang as you. Gangs that were spreading across the country in the 90s had 30 years of history where they were spread from. No comparison to the depth of it.

What he says at 09:50 is what makes me question everything that happened that night. I feel like those guys were smart enough to know that if they retaliated right away, the popular assumption would be that it was them, gang members have common sense too. The way it went down makes it seem like a script.
