I remember 5 years ago, listening to Picture to Burn, not knowing who Taylor Swift is. Now she's all grown up and more beautiful then ever. Alice Walker said: "No person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow." She had amazing lyrics and music back in 2006 and she has amazing music and lyrics now. I love her. You can't say you do not like her know. She can't see the world through a 15 year old eyes anymore. That's what growing up means.

I love how she's been in the business for so long and she started out as the cute innocent girl, just like her fellow "teenstars". And of course all teenstars eventually grow up and want to be mature and not been seen as cute and innocent anymore. And so many others did that by going crazy and behaving inappropriate while Taylor just got mature and grew up .. without any scandals or stupid acts :)

This proves Taylor is still who she was. People are complaining that they want the 'old Taylor' back, but she never left. True, Taylor is changing in terms of her hair, she's trying other styles of music other than country and she's wearing different things, but she is still who she was in 2006 or 2008. She's still cute and sweet and weird and awkward and down to earth and her lyrics are still packed with meaning. As long as she stays herself, that's all I care about because I love her for HER.

I love it that Taylor is real, she's mainstream but she's real...she puts her heart into her lyrics and she really loves performing, I find that unique.
