On the day of his retirement, it got me to thinking, man am I glad MatPat reacted to your channel. I mean this in the greatest way possible, your channel reminds me so much of old school GT. As for the theor--uh, spoilers, I think this is solid! I hadn't considered Ratatoskr being people, but it makes a lot of sense. There could be a cool build up to Zygarde by running into (and probably displacing) cells throughout the game, or maybe you rescue one from the industrialists and it comes with you and sees the good you're trying to do. Also 0:44 Massachusetts mention!!

Thanks so much! Glad you found your way here! I hadn’t thought much about the cells, but that’s a really good idea! Would be a good way to hint at Zygarde throughout the game instead of having him just show up, maybe they do a thing where the industrialist people know the threat of Zygarde is a possibility, but go ahead with their plan anyway to hammer home their villainy. Also you know I had to bring up the Big Dig! (Even if those tunnels are a menace to drive through…)

This is the direction I hope the game takes, and it'll be really cool to see what they changed with the gameplay, especially since in the original Arceus game there was already one single point to build up in that game which this could do better. ... And AZ just shows up to lore dump and be mysterious. You know, because he can.

Yeah, the town building stuff in Legends Arceus was a little lackluster, would be super cool to see them really crank it up to 11 this time around since the redevelopment seems so central to the plot

My main problem with past is that... in XY there is no sign that the city has any sort of coexistance with pokemon. There isn't a single wild pokemon in the entire place, and its not like they haven't done that before, Castellia from gen 5 and Hau'oli from gen 7 both had grass patches in them to get pokemon. (Also more minor but, Xerneas and Yveltal sleep for 1000 years, and they only just woke up in XY, so they wouldn't be able to be in this game because they are in their slumber. While with future they could just still be awake from the events of XY)

All these videos about starters and how the game will play and whether it takes place in the future or the past or both, where is the discussin fo potential Kalosian variants? I know thats a good way to invoke disappointment but still, the variants are where it's at, they are the cntribution this game has to generaitns beyond, nto the Lumiose redevelopment plan or whether you can have Torchic or Fennekin as yur starter.
