Hey SargeUSMC, the Army retired chiming in here. I found your channel just last night. My wife walked in and found me salivating over your room full of equipment. I had to point out all the pieces I could recognize in an attempt to explain to her that I'm not the only one. And, my obsession is not so bad by comparison. The truth is I'm extremely jealous! It would be nice to have a group for music and gear loving audio guys share this passion. Most just don't get it. Passion or sickness? Who cares! What state do you live in? What's wrong with the Mac equipment you already own another note I asked about a week ago did listen to the latest Dylan album Ruff and Rowdy ways its Awesome and are you going to Audio advice Live in August I went last year enjoyed it immensely so many rooms and nice people to meet and greet

There is nothing wrong with the McIntosh gear, it's not their turn yet ,everyone gets a chance to perform, McIntosh was on deck earlier in the year, I will check out Dylan tonight, where is Audio Advice, it sounds very interesting, thanks for tuning in, happy listening 🎶.

Welcome to the Audio Research side of audio, my neck of the woods. You should enjoy that piece very, very much. I have owned Audio Research products for the last 15 years and currently have 4 pieces in my current system. I switched my last amp power amp from Audio Research three years ago to a pair of Simaudio Moon mono blocks. Years ago, I also owned an Audio Research Vt100mk III, a wonderful sounding power amp. Tube cost for the Vt100 mkIII will bite you though and so will repair cost as they age things go wrong and McIntosh is better built, in my opinion, so is Simaudio. Simaudio stuff new has a better warranty than Mcintosh ,Audio Research, and most other products in the business, normally 7 years. Simaudio stuff is built like a tank. The biggest difference between McIntosh and Audio Research is ARC products are more detailed in sound quality, if you are a detailed freak audiophile. McIntosh is better built, with less detail, but still a good sounding product that will last for years and hold its value probably better than any other product in the industry. Semper Fi there sarge, USCGC here. You have no problem, I have a problem. I live in a small one bedroom house. In my small house is 1 set of Polk SDA's, SDA 2's, RTA 12 B's. Monitor 7 and 10's. Pioneer SX 1250 and 2 KA-8100. Also my inside dogs, four pitbulls, ASTRO, Stoli, PORTER and Bludo. My last girlfriend asked me if I need all those speakers and dog's. I said yes, SEE YA.
