Correction. These hymns are not and will never be old! I will always have an issue with anyone saying or singing that they don't know why God shows us His mercy and gives us His grace. He loves us! Same here... I am truly unworthy of Gods wondrous grace! What happened was that one night, before sleeping, I repented of my sins, and asked the Lord Jesus Christ to take away my sinful addictions. I truly ment it in my heart, and my desire to turn from sin was sincere, for the first time in my life... And guess what, He took all my addictions away over night! After being born again, the Holy Spirit has guided me into all truth, and has shown me the realities of this world, and who the god of this world is. I am glad I am no longer part of this world! For those of you who are not awake, please, turn to Jesus Christ, everything in the Bible is true, it's not like what you have been told. Don't believe in the blinding wizardry of the devil, it's all lies... In every thing I give thanks to you Jesus, you loved me first and now I love you! Amen!

I first sang this song when I was in grade 1 at a school in Tasmania in 1970. Being a kid and not paying attention I thought it was "I am Australian......" lol. Suffice to say I was a tad embarrassed when I was an adult and heard the song again. But I love this song so much as my faith and trust in my saviour is as strong as it was when I was young man.
