recently, i've been digging deeper tone lipsticks 👀 maybe i'm getting a teensy bit bored of the same repetitive shades and shiny finishes. it's nice to spice things up a little. ✨
nowadays, i bring a lip pencil everywhere i .go and the lilybyred smiley lip pencils are one of my go-to's. it’s a true greyish-cool pink with little to no white pigment in it. I adore this formula because it’s a soft matte with great adherence.
plus, because my natural lip colour is light pink with the edges being slightly brown-grey-ish, this is the perfect shade for me. It works well mainly with my cool-tone lippies.
surprisingly enough, i usually don't like any lip products with a velvet finish because 80% of the time, they have this silicon slip to it. the rare beauty lip souffle is a special exception. it's lightweight and doesn't feel "distracting" on my lips! 🫶🏻
