It was really hard to see the difference in colors with this one because of the staining but I’m still super excited to try these. I got the shade wonder so far also and agree it is beautiful. Rare Beauty can do no wrong for me ❤

It’s kind of humorous to watch in real time as each reviewer runs into the same problem. In that case I think arm swatches of them newly applied and then the stain are just as effective.. since everyone’s lip pigmentation varies anyway.

This formula is not really a lip oil, it is a glossy lip tint. These types of products have been popular in Korean beauty for years, and the Rare “lip oils” were made in Korea. When you apply the glossy tint formula, a watery/glossy film forms on your lips. If you swatch it on your arm and watch the product you can really see the film form after a few seconds. If you are after a balmy lip oil like the Dior or Nyx ones then go for the Rare Beauty glossy lip balms. The RB lip oils are very similar to the Roman dewyful water tints. I have the Roman dewyful water tint in the shade custard mauve. I actually prefer the Rare Beauty product because the stain is more intense and it looks smoother on my lips. If you want the gloss to last longer during the day, refrain from rubbing your lips together and you will be surprised at how long the gloss film lasts.

I ran to Sephora the day these were launched and grabbed 2 of them and they are my go to now. They stain the lip without being drying. I put it on almost 5 hours ago and ate lunch and the color is still there and it just feels like I have chapstick on. It’s my new go to for summer.

I got the shade in happy as I was looking for a pink to add to my lip collection. They remind me a lot of the Romand lip tints and KBeauty lip tints in general, which are pretty popular over there. It explains that this is made in Korea

Hi Kim ... thought I would chime and let you know I used my favorite clear gloss, Essence Extreme Shine over the left over stain from the Rare Beauty Tinted Lip Oil in Happy. It looked great and did not cause the stain to budge. No weird breakdown of the lip oil stain.

Hi Allie! I received notification (,24 hr in advance from Sephora) and I bought 'Hope' They are definitely a stain. The Gel formula deepens when I put it on a couple of times. I started using a clear lip oil (fro.m Ulta) after a bit because I didn't want the color any deeper. That would be my only issue. It's super comfy. I am looking forward to pairing with tbe Hope blush for a monochomatic look. 😊
