It's really hard to understand what type of football the manager wants the team to play when the team plays so many different versions of football. There still isn't any consistent play style. United concede to much control and chances during a game. The coach has to pick a foundational strength to build on. Either he makes attacking or defending the teams main foundational strength to steady the ship but he seems to not be sure himself what he wants the team's primary strength to be.

Just roll time back to Arteta's first and second seasons at Arsenal. Tactics must suit the skill sets of the players at your disposal. However, you cannot change the whole team at once. So ETH needs more time especially this season to really settle in and establish his philosophy. We still have some wrong elements in the team who are not applying themselves fully. So for me, changing managers will just take us backwards. We are now able to score goals so it's just a matter of finding the right balance in the structure of the team to make game management more efficient...Lastly all players must be focused and confident enough to avoid stupid gaffes.
