@@ramblingraconteur1616 yeah, it’s definitely a book one can return to multiple times. I think one reason it’s under-read is that (at least last time I checked) it’s quite difficult to get hold of a copy without a decent amount of effort. 😅 Pity, as it’s a good one. Hope you are having a good weekend as well. I think I’m ahead of you in time, so I’m ekeing out the last few hours before sleep and then the start of another work week. 😐😬😉

Thanks for this video Jack. I would have avoided this book because I wouldn’t have thought I had any frame of reference to understand it. Talking about your reading process was helpful. She sounds like some of the sassy saints - St Catherine of Siena and St Teresa of Avila. Deb

Saints Catherine and Teresa are very good calls, Deb! I used to read poetry in long swoops and “power through” volumes, but I realized I didn’t recall or learn much from that. Spacing it out like this, particularly with unfamiliar texts, has helped me enjoy it more. I hope you’re having a delightful weekend. Best, Jack

Thanks, Stephanie, it’s the same for me when I hear from others. There are so many books, and the ways we discover new texts through each other is helpful.
