yo rly, for the sped up thing what's sounds more natural and u cant fuck it up is do what you did except after u turned the thing to stretch put it back in resample and leave the time knob as it's set after the strech, then just do what you did with the tempo without touching the pitch knob. Also about the 808 mostly its more a long clipping 808 that is going over 0 that crushes the stereo and the rest is on top love the beat
