I know it's not much, but my hair literally grew 2 inches in three months, and I've NEVER been able to retain length. My hair could barely fit in a ponytail straightened and now at 19, my hair almost passes my chin. I started putting more effort into my hair, and I see growth every 2-3 weeks. I hope to be able to have my hair in a cute puff by the end of the summer. I used to never think I'd be able to have longer hair and while I'm not yet at 12 inches, I've come farther than ever before. Here's what I did: 1. Deep condition/wash my hair EVERY week. 2. Apply leave in conditioner and coconut oil on DAMP hair. 3. Twist up my hair, throw a stylish scarf on, and leave it alone. These three things have helped me retain more length than I ever had before. I hope it helps you guys.

Mercy you are absolutely correct. Leaving the Aloe Vera juice in for 24 hours is a game changer. I have short hair. I got up one morning unbraided my hair to find it brittle and breaking; nothing too drastic. So I did just what you did! I left it in over night, washed it out shampooed and conditioned my hair! Pre poo the day before with an oil, shampoo, deep condition for at least 15 minutes, spray my hair with fenugreek spritz, (outside the shower) oil my scalp with my growth oil concoction, add fresh aloe vera gel followed by leave in conditioner then I seal it all with my butter. Some wash days I do either an herbal treatment (ayurvedic) or a clay mask. Henna treatment twice a year.

Thank you for this video. It helped me so much. It's been about a year since I have washed my hair. I merely just parted my hair with my fingers & massaged Sea Breeze on the scalp. I followed the Sea Breeze routine every 3 mos. as my form of cleaning the scalp. I then put my hair in 4 braids. My hair is so fricking thick and past my shoulders, so it tangles badly. Your Aloe Vera advice helped my hair to detangle before washing. I mixed a TB of moringa powder & an avocado w/my Aloe Vera in a blender. I kept it in my hair for maybe 20 mins and then used my Aphogee Shampoo--braided hair again in 4 braids. I think by SAT, I might flat iron it. I lost a lot of hair because I became impatient with detangling hair, but trust me my hair was almost fused together B4 the Aloe Vera. This remedy will now allow me to wash My hair once a month. I struggle with hair because I haven't gone to a salon since this pandemic. I had 2 strokes in 2015, so although I regained maybe 80-85% of my strength, it's challenging to deal with hair. I no longer use hair relaxers since SEP 2018. I'm now all natural. 😪 I do miss that! Again, thanks for the Aloe Vera tip. . . next time, I'll try leaving in hair overnight! CELESTE, in the ATL 🌼

When i tell you this has been a life changer for me, lol. Instant results. I use aloe vera as you described and really like it for my hair. I've discovered from using various items to get the aloe vera separated from the skin that a grapefruit spoon works really well. It has serrated teeth but is not sharp like a knife. One still has to be careful using it but I've found that it works really well. Just thought I'd share! :-)

I find the Felicia Leatherwood brush a little gentler and easier to use than a denman. Also curious, how do you think your hair would have felt if you shampooed and used the aloe vera in place of a conditioner and left it on overnight? You've got me so curious to try this now but my aloe plant isnt big enough!

You hair looks fabulous!!! Very soft and shiny!!! I've been using it on my hair and within 3 weeks, I've decreased the amount of breakage and shedding to my hair. I have the same spray bottle as you, I mixed the aloe vera, heat protectant and tea tree oil. Spray it on before blow drying my hair. I also mixed the aloe vera in my hair oils and greases. It is a great hair and skin protectant.

OMG Mercy!! I JUST used the Aloe after I washed my hair last week as a leave in conditioner. And I thought it was my imagination when my hair was also shiny, light and flowing when I unbraided them the next day! Yes! And I can definitely see the sheen in your hair! I’m definitely going to continue using it after my weekly wash. I’m late in the game☺️

@ Shee weesh: First I want to say I don’t much or buy a bunch of products. I stick to pretty much the same products. So I normally wash my hair weekly and condition. I use the Coconut milk shampoo and conditioner. Then I part my hair in small parts and apply either that ol’skool hair pomade Royal Crown. It goes well with my hair. OR my Shea butter mix that I made. And then now I’m LOVING the Aloe leave -in conditioner that I make. I spray into sections of my setting braids. I make sure it’s well distributed. And that’s it. I put my hair bonnet and go about my business ☺️. I hoped that helped.

But prior to the Aloe recently. I applied The Cantu Shea butter leave in cream. Also, I forgot to mention that even if I don’t shampoo weekly I CONDITION my hair WEEKLY.

You're aloe vera tips were great... the only difference is I used a blender instead of a strainer to liquefy the solid pieces from the aloe vera plant.. you're able to get more as well. I also used a funnel to pour the ingredients inside of a applicator bottle.

Oh My God I Was Just In Tears Because I've Experienced Dry Brittle Unmanageable Hair Since I Stopped Using Chemicals. I Typed in how to treat my dry brittle hair and I chose your video. I immediately tried the Aloe Vera. Fortunately for me i always have some but have used it for everything except my hair. When I tell you I applied it and it immediately took the static from my hair. I have braided it now I'm waiting to see what it feels and looks like Tomorrow. I'm sure it will be Amazing as yours is. Thank You For Helping Me With A Solution Blessings And Love.

I started following you last May and started on my hair care journey. I have not been putting any heat in my hair and keeping it moisturizer and also doing the aloe and rose water treatments. I’ve also started a prenatal vitamin and biotin. I know every one hair grows differently but I’m starting to get discouraged because my hair started to fall out again in the back. I’ve notice that if I’m under a lot of stress it does that. What do you suggest I do?

Sometimes all of that stuff can be harmful depending on the person. Some people can leave aloe vera overnight with great success and others had their hair harden due to protein overload. It might be that all that stuff you're trying to do is actually harming your hair. You might want to see a dermatologist.

Fresh Rosemary will stop the breakage and actually make your hair grow. It stopped my hair from falling out and my once shoulder length hair is now down my back, past my bra and STILL growing...all in less than a year.
