I started using all natural ingredients in my hair after survived chemo and living pass the time the doctors told me I was suppose to live. I have been a naturalist now for over 30 years. No chemicals, perms, processed foods etc and I tell you my body, life and hair has changed. I love being a natural African beauty. I truly enjoyed watching your video. @@jayshantelllove8281 Well for me it is a matter of survival, not a choice but an imposed way of life. I am allergic to a lot of different foods, we became a farming family and this is the clincher, we relocated to the Caribbean in order to be able to grow our own food all year round. Organic is what I must do in order to survive. It is a process, it is a way of life, it is a lifestyle change.

Facts the hair that the older generation told me are pikky nappy or coarse pepper grains. All are beautiful with the right treatment they taught us to look down on or mock those with coarser hair than ours and apparently I had good hair when tbh I've always wanted thick hair. People need more education on hair especially the older women

I’ve been natural for 17 years and my hair is below my waist. For years women of color are either taught or told we don’t or can’t have long hair because of our race or hair grade. We’re also told our hair is bad hair because it’s not straight. My adult daughters have transitioned to natural and my 2 little girls are also natural. The 3 of us have locked hair and they love their hair. I’ve never tried aloe Vera, so I’m definitely going to buy some tomorrow. I truly applaud you for your journey. Your hair is healthy and beautiful. God bless you.

OH MY GOODNESS. This is my hair testimony: After watching this video in the end of January 2020, i decided to make my own version of the aloe Vera oil with other herbs infused into a mix of olive, Jamaican black castor, and sunflower seed oil. I have been using this product ever since. At the time I began using it, I had a mini chop where my hair was cut to shoulder length hair. Now my hair has literally grown to MBL in the back and to about two inches above my bellybutton in the front. This is literally insane, my hair grew so much using this hair oil at least once a week on freshly shampooed and cleansed scalp and hair. I don’t know if I’ve ever had my hair grow back this fast. Plus I was using the Greenhouse effect and would feel my scalp tingle and use the oil in conjunction. This oil even felt amazing on the long of the kinkiest and coarsest section in the back crown of my head. This is no joke!!!

The purpose of soaking it is to let the milky part of the aloe Vera plant that causes itchiness or irritation. Freezing the whole plant allows the gel to be frozen so it’s easier to peel the shell off. The gel is supper slippery and can prevent you cutting yourself 😆 hope it helps
@amore6206
@amore6206 4 жыл бұрын
Seems if you cut the sides before rinsing and then freezing, the gel is exposed and may not be as potent. Did I read that correctly? I like the idea of it being easier to extract otherwise. That order however seems counter productive.

Anything that is put in the freezer should be covered. Thank you for bringing up that point. Good note for everyone. But I personal freeze it for maybe 40 minutes until it gets hard so I don’t see it affecting it personally. You just want it hard to avoid too much sliminess when cutting. But I would say freezing always preserves the fresh quality of any food.

This combination looks amazing! I have used these ingredients separately but never together so thanks for sharing! Just a tip to everyone out there, be careful of overheating any natural products bc it “cooks” out the nutrients that are needed for our hair growth. So warming the mixture to help everything blend together is a wonderful idea. It also makes it easier to apply, as well as more comfortable than using room temp or cold ingredients. I hope this helps! And once again, thank you so much for sharing! 💜💜💜

I’m going to try this!!! I already have olive oil and coconut oil at home ....I’m natural and I mostly wear braids and wigs because my hair does good when it’s tucked away and left alone... I experience knots tangles and breakage but still have a head full of hair & could use a good trim...but yeah I would love for my hair to be more healthier so I will try this I usually have braids so I don’t wash my hair every week I will go a month unless it’s just extra hot and I’ve sweat in my head a lot then I’d wash it while the braids are in my head just washing my scalp then redo the outside braids that have gotten frizzy or look rough... your hair is beautiful anyway I’m DEFINITELY try this gonna go get some aloe plants tomorrow since I’m off and do the spray leave in and oil stuff while I got my braids still in.... I work like crazy but imma try to do this once a week starting tomorrow until the end of August and see if I see any results 😃

I am just amazed that I had so many comments and queries. I was diagnosed at 27 with bone cancer. My arrogance at the time said, test that again, cancer is for old people. But even though I was on a career path working on my master to make VP where I worked, I never lost sight of GOD in my life. So to be honest when the realization hit me when the test came back, I called out to God and said "God I am so sorry I have been chasing my dreams and not chasing you. I am listening now, you have my attention". The illness came fast and hard. My doctor told me to put my house in order, because of the progression of the illness, I would not make it to age 30. I am writing this now and I am just smiling because I turned to God first when the realization hit me. After about a year and a half of western medicine and chemo and all the pills and needles, and blood and urine test every week and all the bloating from the side effects and just all the drugs. My sister that I had not spoken to in about 4 years contacted me and took me to a Chinese doctor. I remember being carried into the doctor's office. I was not able to walk by that time. Being with that Chinese doctor for about 3 hours and wow lots of needles, up and down my body. By that time I was immune to the pain of needles, I had nothing to lose. I just went with the flow and so after 3 hours of the intensity of what the Chinese medicine doctor had me undergo. I was able to walk out of his office when my sister came to collect me with her husband. She said to me wow you are walking, I said cool isn't it. She asked me what I wanted to do? I said I wanted to go to a movie. I just wanted to do something that normal people did. After I got home, my friend and helper was amazed and she was like wow you are walking. I felt like I won the gold metal at the olympic. I was like yea, I got this. The first thing I did was took a shower, washed my body by myself, cleansed my entire body on my own, with my own hands, touching and learning my body again. I was rediscovering me, my flesh, my teeth, my vigina. I just felt so much joy to take a shower and wash my own body with my own hands. It was a perfect day that day. I was 29 then. Western medicine gave the illness life. Chinese medicine stopped it in its tracks. There was a period of withdrawal my body went through going from one form of medicine to another, but the reward of being able to do me outweighed the side effects. I had already chopped of my hair back then, I wanted to make taking care of my easy for my care giver my friend. She studied nursing, me I studied business finance. Hey God puts all in a position to find and need each other. I am a true child of GOD. He has his plans for me. I am just his pawn in his chess board. So I have no sorrow, regrets, sadness, anger. I am such a grateful soul and the appreciation of God's grace on my life to allow me as a pawn to keep moving forward on the board to experience what he wants me to experience. After about 3 years with Chinese medicine, I asked God to allow me to experience love and family since I was obviously lived pass the age I was given 30. God had grace upon my life and he has allowed me to get married and have a family. Still moving on the board. I always keep God first and my life has unfolded with so much joy and ah ha moments, every day I wake up the a beautiful sun rise with my husband beside me. We wake up early to exercise, and start our day with me working and building my body to have an amazing day. 26 years now of marriage and just one son now 18 that God has gifted me with and my husband provided. Again, God's grace. Sometimes it isn't about what we think we want it is about what God provides. I don't have the luxury to make demands of what society dictates, but rather what I must appreciate. God has allowed me to experience wife and mom and I appreciate that was his grace. For me and the regime of my life, I do it all with joy, the 4:00 am exercise daily, the blended bush drinks for immune building, energy booster, blood cleanser. All of it I do with joy. Happiness is about going pass the yuk to the okay I got this.

I drank green tea with fresh lemon (1 whole lemon) juice every morning. costs about $1. also exercise and sweat. topical stuff works but what you put inside is really the reason for your outward appearance. thank you for the video and tips. i see it as good for maintaining long hair.

DEMETRICE PEARSON Hi Demetrice. First I began to drastically lose my hair. It was coming out in various areas of my head. Next, my joints began to ache in my elbows, my knees, my toes, fingers, ankles, just all over. The pain would be so bad that I could barely move. I couldn’t walk up and down the stairs. I could hardly fully straighten my arms and legs. I’m not sure what test the doctors gave me, however they drew some blood and called me back in four days with the test results.
