Hi Everyone! Sorry for lack of uploads, life has been a bit stressful. I'll let you know why at some point 😆 I'm hiding just because I'm waiting for a permit to release a series of videos. But anyway, here is the link to my shop! It's so exciting seeing the final design of the calendar. I've also added some cute baby squirrel cards and winter cards 🐿😍 www.daniconnorwild.com/shop

I changed my Patreon subscription to have the calendar; you deserve this humble little help from me because I love your work. Thanks to you I equipped myself with a lens dedicated to wildlife photography, the Fujifilm 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 (equivalent to 150-600mm) which is coupled with my Fujifilm XT-5 (40Mpx). I started photographing Gulls and Falcons on the island where I live (L'Ile d'Yeu - Vendée - France).

I love your videos and all the photography you do of the squirrels. I recently discovered squirrels in my backyard and since my little doggy passed away a few months prior, I started feeding the squirrels and just falling in love with them. I have named them, there’s three, and every time I call out to them, one in particular Toby, comes running on my fence and comes down to get the walnuts and peanuts. When I don’t wake up early sometimes, he will climb on my screen door and shake it so that we notice him.😂 it’s so cute. I just love your videos, especially the ones that you are caring for Roo. It’s so precious. Thank you for sharing your experiences and photography. Great job!

Love those reds. My house is surrounded by woods and we have loads of red squirrels around, I can watch them while in bed still! It's just a thought really, but we need a calendar which has the columns (usually 5), so we can see who's doing what when - deconflict work, school and all that. It would be more work and complication but maybe in future you could think about doing a couple of different formats? I do enjoy the channel and the pictures 👍

there is something magical about these squirrels....for the non-professional mushroom crowd, the red and white one Dani likes is actually poisoness, so its not recommend for dinner! The yellow ones are called cantrelles or kantareller in Swedish and can be found at Trader Joe's or at local markets and are really delicious and worth a try.

Absolutely love your squirrel photography! As a patron of your 2023 calendar, I'd love to see a some visual clue on the calendar that hghlights the weekend columns differently. As I am so used to all calendars in the U.S. being Sunday-Saturday layout, I often confuse myself when I look at your calendar. I like the Mon-Sun layout, but some visual hint, like a slightly bigger gap between Friday and Saturday, or any other visual clue, would be greatly appreciated by us Yanks, so that we can tell at a glance how the calendar is arranged. As a photographer myself that often does night photography on a whim, I would also appreciate moon phase info, but this is less of an issue as I can write that in (although it would be really nice to have pre-printed as some other commercial calendars do).

Squirrels are fascinating creatures. If you hang a line that is tied to trees across the river, they will use it to cross it. If you leave nuts or seeds where you want them to be, they will always come. Eventually, if you are lucky, jays and owls too.

Thank you Dani! Your videos are always eagerly waited for! I actually have used this year's calendar to write down the little natural life there is looking from my balcony in the middle of Malmö (300,000 inhabitants). I will be so nice to summarize and see what birds I have had during the winter at my bird feeder, as well as watching the swifts arriving and departing. The previous years, I've actually had a swift's nest just five meters from my balcony, but alas, not this year. And in 2023 they arrived on the 15th of May (almost ot the day when they usually do, and I saw the last couple on the 15th of August. It's sad to see them leave, but they are fascinating little creatures. So Surely wil equip my family with more calendars for 2024! Sadly, bees and bumblebees have decreased dramatically within just the last five years, in spite of me filling my balcony with all sorts of flowering plants that I know they like. I think I'll try to keep track of them as well next year.

I had a monopod that I was taking picture on a river bank in Florida and the end sunk into the mud. In such, I lost the rubber tip that protected the end/bottom of the monopod. Flash forward a few weeks, I was in a medical supply story picking up some stuff up for my mom when I noticed replacement ends for crutches. I bought the set and it fit perfectly on the monopod. I mention this because you could probably find an end piece for your tripod at the hardware store in the form of a rubber chair leg tip. They come in different diameters and colors. Well, typically they come in white, black, brown, and clear. They will still fit on the tripod end even if it's not perfectly round. It'll conform to the shape of the leg. Just a thought. I loved the video and you have a new subscriber. Thank you for sharing and God bless.
