What your not changing, your choosing! I'm in my late 30's. After graduating from university with a 4 year master's, I quickly came to the realization that I would never fulfill my potential in the United Kingdom. The more and harder I work, the more I would be hit with taxation. I'm ashamed to say that I still live at home. It makes me feel I adequate as a man. Even at the age of 37, it would take me 5 to 10 years just to save for a deposit for a house. As much as I love my family, it's time for me to maximize my potential by moving abroad. It's the only way that I will be able to get into the 🏠 ladder and have a family. I've managed to secure a position in new zeland (my visa is being processed as we speak!). I hope to look back upon this message in 5-10 years time. I want to be proud of the man that I have become!

While I respect that everyone has their own experience, I think it’s worth considering a different view of the UK. Many people and I find it to be a fantastic place to live, full of opportunity, community, and rich history. Yes, there are challenges-like in any country-but the UK offers a high standard of living, world-class healthcare, and vibrant culture. Pal, being single or not being paid well in your 30th may have less to do with the UK itself and more with your individual circumstances or personality. Instead of focusing on negatives, it could be more rewarding to look at the countless positives that make the UK unique. I came to this country almost a decade ago from bloody Russia and I have a tremendous career in city (finance), just got on a property ladder and have nothing to complain about, I work hard and I earn a lot, and I can afford the lifestyle I need. God bless the King, and may the UK continue to thrive as one of the best places in the world to call home! 🎉🎉🎉

World class healthcare you say.. 😂 Come on now. Oh you mean private healthcare? Aside from the cost yes UK has the facilities and expertise. And it’s not quite America prices. But the NHS is a complete joke, it’s utterly broken. I would also suggest he has looked at the positives, and weighed them against the negatives, and made his decision based on those. And I cannot blame him in the slightest, I’m a handful of months behind him, and cannot wait to get out of the UK either. Just seeing that pool and hearing of the 30 degree heat, music to my ears. Looking forward to more videos, and if you read this Daryl, do let us know how you will earn an income (aside from hopefully KZbin in the longer term) as that is the biggest stumbling block I’m facing myself.

Ain’t that something! You complain about immigrants in the UK and you leave for a Muslim country and an ultra diverse, multiethnic city that is ranked 84th out of 230 cities in the Mercer quality of life index - a city that has been built off the backs of poor immigrants and locals who have been exploited infinitely worse than you may have been back home in Edinburgh. I know this may not be where you end up full time, but you boosting Kuala Lumpur where they still have corporal punishment and actively discriminate against LGBT people is pretty crappy - but something tells me that those are things you may not necessarily dislike. I left the UK many years ago for valid reasons and while I would NEVER discourage anyone from leaving their home country if it’s right for them, and while your reasons are your own, they drip with hypocrisy.

@Jimbobrasil don't make such arrogant ridiculous assumptions. There are hundreds of thousands of people who flee their western regimes to try life in another country and find happiness. Just because there are some "wrong uns" in society who ponder what would happen to them in a foreign land if they committee a crime doesn't imply that we all seek to "push the boundaries'. I would graciously accept the fact that I am a guest in the country i would choose to emigrate to, and if they had a law that said I would.get 100 lashes for drinking alcohol in public then guess what....... I wouldn't drink alcohol in public!. You see, in my craphole of a khunt-ry, the guests come over here and get away with everything. Whether that be threatening to rape some whyte kids 9 year old sister or slashing up 3 little girls at a Taylor Swift dance class. You would call discipline a "violation of human rights", where I call it for what it is. Discipline!. Which, if severe enough should serve as a deterrent. My only concern about warmer climates is not from the people but from the animal/insect life.

You`re just parroting what Vladimir Putin wants us all to hear. Yes, the U.K. is in the worst place it has been in for years, but Brexit and arguably Russian interference in our politics have pulled it down. I'm happy for you if you are really genuine in what you want to share here, but actually, Britain needs its young people, and with some effort, things can be repaired and made better. I feel that this kind of video is just playing into an anti west narrative being touted by largely right-wing groups to cause young people to believe there is no hope for them. If we engage we can change things and its not just about running away. In any case good luck in KL .
