Kinda bittersweet seeing the late Troy Huddleston’s converted FLD(the black/red/silver Shaker that looks like an FLC)…haven’t been to MATS since around 2008. I always enjoyed finding the old iron on display…

I got boots older than Tim he's taking on a lot more than I had the guts at his age.i drove local for my family hauling heavy equipment off and on never went far, local stuff Starting driving in March 1990. I probably drove my first a 1974 ford L9000 before he was born. I'm 55 and haven't really drove much in 25 yrs part time for my brother. Now retired at 55 I thinking about fixing up a sweet FLD i couldn't refuse and doing a little trucking. Good or bad idea? Don't need the money but the road is calling me again.

The International COE looked killer.... Lots of very nice trucks..... When I was in younger days late 70s - early 80s , I cleaned 12 horse 12'X12' stalls every day,fresh water for every stall & feed accordingly to the time of year it was. I had a roof over my head, 3 meals a day if I would like & didn't get paid one red penny. But you know what,It taught me "" work ethics "" ...
