tfc is definitely a very set up book that yes you are so right you read the whole series and then you look back on the first one with nostalgia when you read it again. evrything is about to get sooo much messier and more intense yay hope you enjoy the raven king hehehehehh (although there is some super intense stuff so idk if you have any triggers but if so pls check the warning

Commenting at the beginning (just in case this comes up later on in the video lol), but it would also be fun to use a d20 and you could use it like if you do nat20, you read only as much as you feel like; but if you do roll 1, you do a 24hr reading marathon. And the rest of the numbers would just be number rolled = hour read 😂

I never read much after work. In fact, most of the time I'd be so tired I fall asleep on the subway and sometimes slump onto the poor passenger in the next seat [such is life]. However, before work on the bus I'd always read, read, read. That's the way I finished Don Quixote (so funny), Naked Lunch (so weird!) and War and Peace. Also I'd read during lunch hour. There was this nurse who always came in to the lunch room while I was reading W&P. It was a distraction but as I said I finished it anyway. To be honest now, 45 years later, maybe that wasn't the best choice? idk

I read and loved A Deadly Education last year, immediately picked up the sequel from the library, and then just never read it. It's rare that I enjoy a YA to begin with, so I'm just worried that the rest of the series won't be as good for me and will make me feel less fond of the first book 😭 But maybe one day I'll just get both books from the library and read them in a single weekend because I am really curious now haha
