Visual presentation of your video in warm monochromatic shades really captured the essence of your quest. It was simple and beautiful!

Thank you Sarah for watching and sharing your reflection! Yes, I try to be intentional about the setting I live in, and I find earthy, neutral colors to be soothing and grounding. It sounds like you do, too. ❤

I love my STUFF !! I’m in a studio apartment and what I have now is the things that have been with me since childhood and other assorted treasures and necessities. I won’t be parting with more.

Unintentionally hilarious. You kept the antlers. 😂🤣😂🤣

Oh I'm absolutely keeping the antlers! I am a woman of priorities, hehe. The backstory, my grandpa was a hunter and shot this buck, so these antlers mean a lot to me. ❤

Hello, i just stumbled upon your video and i enjoyed it very much. Your honesty and forthrightness are appreciated. I am a 72 year old single mom for 35 years. My daughter and granddaughter have their own place. My home is a studio apartment. I have been purging for at least 5 years and am now down to the basics. The only thing i have in quantity are my books. But i know when i depart this mortal coil, my daughter will love and treasure them too. Letting go, of anything or anyone, is difficult. But you are right. It is calming, therapeutic and so freeing. Take care of you and i look forward to your next video ❤

Oh my goodness, your comment has really blessed me. Thank you for sharing a bit of your journey with me. Indeed, the letting go can feel excruciating at times, and yet liberating simultaneously. Blessings & peace be within you!

One step at a time - one box at a time 🤗

I will share more on this in an upcoming video. But for now I'll share that I like to begin with the things I know I am totally ready to let go of in my first sweep. I go in rounds over time.

I recently had a move that called into question my identity as a minimalist. How did I acquire so many things!? I guess I had really good storage and it looked minimal, and now I'm in a micro apartment with boxes still stacked. I love that you mentioned your crystal collection. I have given away a lot of mine, but I still have many that are just sitting in a box. I think I may give away/sell the ones that don't truly call to me.

It's so easy to acquire things, isn't it? Yes, it helps to know when we are releasing more precious items that they will find new life and make new people happy! And, that additional income stream is an added benefit.

Great video! I recently found out that crystals are unsafe. Longterm exposure to crystals can make you ill. There is research online about this. I had no idea! Thanks for your story 🫶. Have a nice Winter. 🧣☃️
