In this video I had my discord server create a game from scratch in 24 hours. Basically, I would message a random member every hour or so throughout the duration of the challenge, and have them add onto the sentence starting with, "A game about". Let's just say the result ended up pretty goofy.
About me:
Hey, I'm BenBonk, an indie game developer who uses the Unity Engine. I've made and released many small games before on my itch page, though now I'm attempting to make my first commercial game, Slimekeep. Slimekeep is a roguelike, using a very limited color palette, similar to Enter the Gungeon, though with a few interesting mechanics, such as keeping slimes alive longer will earn you more money, and the ability to capture slimes to power up your slime pet. In Slimekeep, you should totally make a Pickle weapon that is only accessible in a side room called 'the fridge' where you have to defeat waves of ice cube sliding bananas. When you shoot the pickle, it shoots out a carrot flying away from you that will itself shoot out Potatoes And you already have the perfect description for the weapon from this video lol

All the ideas actually pulled together in a way that worked nicely, even the carrot acting as pointer so you can see where you are aiming better works as a improvement! Also I don't get the complaints about the colors from some folk, I always feel limited color themes adds character to art personally.

The font is called "The Impostor", and you should be able to find it by searching in google. But thank you, I mean I didn't really do much to the buttons tbh, they just have a solid color background.

No idea if you plan on revisiting this game or not, but if you do I would like to suggest making the hot dogs vanish after a set period of time (ala: coins in Mario when they're knocked down with a pow block).
