Honestly this was a nice vid. As the channel has grown so has the business. John somehow became the responsible one. But seeing behind the curtain with Sam and Jordan added some nice silliness and squirrelliness. Since they left, the feeling wasn’t the same. But getting to see more of the team and how they work and problem solve. It gave a similar feeling. Keep it up, love y’all videos.

Great video! So good to see shop dynamic again. It's been missing since Sam and Jordan left and I really missed it. A couple of tips: 1. Take the drop ceiling tiles out and spray them so you don't have to worry about missing the edges and then showing white when they inevitably shift. 2. Put an underlayment between the concrete slab and the floating laminate flooring. You can get a cheap 100 sqft. roll of 2mm for less than $20. It will cut down on creaking and noise and protect the laminate from getting soft and bulging if water seeps through the porous concrete. It's way cheaper than replacing the flooring plus all the therapy you'll need after going ape shit from listening to the floor creak all damn day.

I did that exact same mistake with painting my drop ceiling black. Started with a roller/brush, immediately went and bought a sprayer. Still had to spray from different angles to get into all that texture. I am still finding parts of the ceiling that didn't get fully covered, but I LOVE the look of the black ceiling.

I visited one of Eastman Chemical’s Data Center buildings. To design the building, they went to their employees. They put the employees into teams. One team to design the conference rooms, a team to design the NOC, a team for the Lobby, a team to design the office spaces, etc. And the employees reviewed what the teams had piut together. They took all the designs from the empoyees, put them in a stack, and then handed the stack to the architects, and said “wrap a building around this”.
@1.blazeIT Жыл бұрын
Eastman has some of the nicest spaces at these centers. However, whenever you see some of the spaces in the actual plant, they're pretty bare bones. I was attending a meeting in one of our research centers and realized that my bosses glass corner office was completely custom. They gave him a budget and make it his own so he could "personalize his workspace"

Sports drink would be a cool idea for working in the summer for the fountain so people could stay hydrated more and would remind John of his football days. Maybe do something caffeinated like, wait, coffee. Cold coffee would be sick to have in that thing. One thing you would want to do is make sure you cleaned and sterilized it once a week, though, if you are running anything sugary through it, but if you are running coffee or tea through it, just a soap and water wash once a week should be good enough to keep it clean.

As much as I like the art, I'm pretty sure that covering up the electrical panel is a fire hazard and violates electrical and fire codes. Idk if it is in your state, but it's something worth looking into. I don't want John to eat a fine that was preventable.
