Today the video is about how to make Idli Milagai Podi at home. Idli podi is one of the best combination for idli, dosa, adai. Now-a-days people use ready-made idi podi which has lot of preservatives in it. Even though the ready-made idli podi is available in the stores, homemade idli podi always has a special taste. In today’s busy world, readily available homemade idly podi saves time in preparing sambar or chutney for breakfast/dinner. Try this idli podi at home and let me know your feedback.
Ingredients
உளுத்தம் பருப்பு/ Urad Dal - 4 spoon
கடலை பருப்பு / Gram Dal - 2 spoon
கறிவேப்பிலை / Curry Leaves - தேவையான அளவு / As Required
வெள்ளை எள்ளு / white sesame -
2 spoon
காய்ந்த மிளகாய் / Dry Chilli - 12 to 15
பூண்டு / Garlic - 10 to15
பெருங்காயம் / Asafoetida - ¼ Spoon
உப்பு / Salt - தேவையான அளவு / As Required
நல்லெண்ணெய் / Sesame Oil - தேவையான அளவு / As Required
வெல்லம் / Jaggery - சிறிதளவு / A Little
