I add little bit of jaggery and use rock salt . I put the salt ( கல் உப்பு ) in the hot kadai after switching it off. While roasting I sprinkle little salt so that there is no pungent smell. ( நெடி)

Dear sir, I am 26 now..untill you start the youtube channel i never show any interest to learn cooking since that my parents and my relative always scold me...once i watch your uppuma receipe and i impress with your teaching method and i tried in my home....you don't beleive that eversince in my life that was the fantastic uppuma i tasted... whenever my mother get sick we used to always buy foods from outside while my relative always scolding me for i am unable to cook and support my family....last time my amma was hospitalized for 3 days...I am the person cooked 3 days 9 meals with your help..... now i really get interest to cook for myself and others...
