@@BMoss99 It's like any other bash, like on Valk or Nobushi, you can throw a light even if you miss, and most of the bash in the game are around 500ms. imo I have fun learning how to counter BP while Wu Lin heroes are still cancer to me.

Khalil Tbini That was a bug that’s now fixed. If you dodge a BP shield bash instant GB them. Same for Conqs bash, gladiators bash, Shaolin kick, they’re all punishable.

I thought i was the only one who has a hard time avoiding BP's shield bash. I think he should eat a GB if he miss his shieldbash, and remove his guaranteed shieldbash when the opponent blocked a light attack when OOS, and maybe don't allow him to delay his forward shieldbash. other than that he's actually pretty fun to use and fight against. Edit: So everyone says the delayed shieldbash still as the same dodge timing as a regular shieldbash so i take back what i say about his delayed shieldbash, and his OOS pressure is an unintended bug and ubisoft is fixing it. But i still stand to him eating a GB after missing a shieldbash, or at least make it easier to punish his shieldbash because currently if you're playing as a character who doesn't have a dodge attack, its unpunishable. Edit 2 : Yes, im aware his shieldbash can still be GB'd, but you have to dodge the shieldbash on prediction. What i want to say is his recovery on the shieldbash is to quick imo.

The OOS bashes where you block a light attack and get bashed for free is a bug, they're fixing it soon hopefully but I still agree, just makes me feel like I'm playing vs a Conq but with a much better moveset and more damage.

With throw farther Shugo can throw someone and then immediately go into a bear hug and hit. Only issue is you'll have to side throw if they're going to fall to hit them with a charged.

The bash makes him annoying but not OP. His attacks are really easy to parry in my experience so far and his bulwark counter is easy to bait. But like every hero, in good hands hes just that, good. The only thing that needs some balancing is his feats

Only thing they should change with shugoki is his running heavy should come from side to make minions easier to clear. And A Critical DE should heal 50 and damage 50. Other then that I love the new BIG BOI

He has a much better zone now though that easily clears minion waves so no real need for the dash attack. And him getting much more damage numbers would be hell to play against. He really is fine with his current damage potentials.

@Sarincrow I honestly dont know how you can hate shoguki is his current state unless your bad and just dont like adjusting to different things. His embrace is 100% REACTABLE and is a guaranteed GB on dodge. He heals for 25 and deals 25 assuming he even lands it. His mix ups are 2 chains and his unblockable flicker is the only thing id consider change. Hes a reactable, fun character, to say otherwise is just telling of your skill level not the character.

The only thing that is broken is his 20 damage off of a bash (and his OOS exploit that not many people know about). If they reduce that damage to 15, or make the bash more punishable, then I think Vortiger would be perfectly fine.

Everyone keeps saying that the bp should be punished fore wiffing a sheild bash with a guard break, but in my opinion, if you do that then it would never get used. Think about it, one gb can, depending on which hero lands it can punish pretty hard usually taking away a quarter to a third of someone's life pool. Lower the damage yea but dont make it to where its never worth going for a sb with that much potential cost.

Haven't had a single bit of trouble against BP and Shugoki so far. He seems fine to me. Though I don't know, it might also be people not having many experience with them that makes it easier for me to fight them. But so far feinting into heavies works pretty damn well against BP.

And let's be honest here bc of the animation and the fact the tracking is no where near conq level you can still evade the bash. Even if you don't time it right to get the punish. Once they patch the oos bug he really won't be that bad. People just need to get used to his moveset and timings.

You know the bulwark, aka parry block is important, it is impossible to counter guard break while in that stance, so as long as you guard break in that stance it's impossible for him to counter you, plus he really isn't that broken because there's others like berserker that can do way more damage than he does but because it's day one people are looking for how powerful he is without looking at the big picture and recognizing that he isn't that powerful he's just new and people are looking to see if he's someone to play.

I think giving someone who is supposed to be a defensive character with an all parry a 500 ms free 20 damage that allows for heavy aggression while also being completely safe and requires a good side dodge in order to punish the aggression properly is a bit stupid but I dont think his kit outside of that is broken at all just that fact that he is completely safe when using his aggressive options.
