I literally thought we were going to die…
❗️NEW EPISODE ALERT! This special episode is all about seizing control and steering your life in the direction YOU choose.
Recently, a hair-raising cab ride with my daughter Bella turned into much more than a moment of heart-pounding fear; it became a profound lesson about life's unexpected turns and who's really in the driver's seat.
That ride wasn't just scary; it was a stark reminder of the chaos we invite into our lives when we let others take control.
When we finally escaped that cab, the ordeal didn't end there. The driver's next turn led to a crash - a literal collision that echoed the potential disasters we face when we surrender our power to others.
Reflecting on that day, I realized it was more than just a bad ride; it was a metaphor for life. Too often, we sit back, not questioning, not asserting, letting someone else steer our course. And where does that lead? To situations, relationships, or decisions that we never wanted, putting everything precious at risk.
In this episode, we're going deep into what it means to truly audit your thinking, to understand the emotions and fears driven by others' actions and opinions.
It's about dissecting those feelings, understanding the 'why' behind them, and most importantly, reclaiming your rightful place at the wheel of your life!
We often cruise in the passenger seat of our existence, not realizing the power we have to change lanes, to speed up, to slow down, to choose our destination. It's time to grab that wheel, to drive with purpose and intent, and to ensure that the journey of life is one that YOU dictate.
Don't let your life be a series of reckless rides, where the cost is too high, and the risks too great. Tune in, take control, and transform your journey into one of intention, direction, and ultimate fulfillment. The road is yours - TAKE THE WHEEL.

I've been following you now Ed for a minute so with respect I say this the adds must go. So many of us pay KZbin to not have to hear adds and now we are hearing them multiple times within a half hour in the messages of our mentors or and coaches. It has become a little to much!

well, I have to be honest with you. I agree that there are too many ads on this episode… Certainly, there’s gonna be ads, but in this case, for such a short episode, it’s too many… I was not in control of that, I hope the content is so good that you can see through it and just know that I’ll be working with my new podcast partner to reduce the amount of ads on a show this short… I’m with you… Stay patient my friend

Its okay this video is worthy :) 4 ads is all good. You can skip them in like 5 sec thats like 20seconds of your day. While most people go about watching 2 hours of unexpected content. Like shorts kind of videos. Thats 7200seconds. So to bring awareness I'd say the people who are against the ads are one of the lucky ones that they must be self aware enough to know what is of value. But just to remind you that 20seconds of 7200 seconds is about 0.27%. Respect to those who don't switch to entertaining videos like tiktoks or instagram reels or YT shorts where they feed their brain with just too much. But remember that you are the top 0.27 percent. You value your attention. That means that in a group of a 10thousand people there is 27 of you guys. You are one of the people with potential that realize that your attention is rare and has all the worth. Because it is. What you focus on is what will build. Hope this brought some perspectives. Correct me if my corrections are off

Well, it’s 4:30 in the morning I woke up over an hour ago after dreaming about my husband who passed right after I made a sandwich for him and he said he was going to take a quick shower. I didn’t hear the water running for a while enough that I had a horrible thought, I went to the bathroom and the door wouldn’t open because he was slumped up against it ran around to the pool because it had another door entrance and I prayed as I was running that that door was not locked. It wasn’t and when I found him his lips were blue soaking wet on the floor, and I could not help him I tried to do CPR, grab my phone called 911 and scream down the street because I had two firemen and a policeman that lived on my street. They came before the ambulance or any firetruck that was right down the street it seemed like so much time and they wouldn’t tell me how he was doing and wouldn’t let me near him, I guess that’s the first time I have written this maybe that’s why I live in so much fear and have worked so hard to become the person I used to be get her back gone to Joe Dispenza, Rythmia Tony Robbins doing everything to get myself out of this rut. I’m glad you shared the story because there are been plenty of times where I have done 360s and thought it was on ice and I thought it was the end, so God save me so many times.

This is the very exact reason he is worth a million dollars or billion dollars because he does these things. He's always hustling. So even though it's annoying I understand it and I admire it and that is why he has so much more money than all of us. He's probably doing it to buy something else big and fancy.

So sorry for your loss. This happened to me but I was one my neighbour came running to. I shouldered the bathroom door and found her husband unresponsive. I immediately started CPR and continued for 15 minutes till medics arrived. Whilst doing CPR I felt an immense peace come upon me and it was if my neighbour was saying to me, "I'm ok, you can stop now" It was such a beautiful experience amongst the trauma. He couldn't be revived and I felt a sense of guilt until His wife told me he'd had an aneurysm and there was nothing I could have done. I shared this precious experience I had with his wife and she took such comfort from it. I trust you can too. God bless X

This episode is very motivating for me. Simple message-hits right to the core and has given me some clarity on what’s limiting me! Thanks! In response to complaint I saw about new adds… I never like adds either, anywhere-but as someone working to build online business, Ed I appreciate seeing you do it well. Even if you are already rich, when any person can take advantage of additional “healthy” opportunities to build wealth-it is wise to do so! I am sure a Christian man with the values you hold is the sort of man I want to have more money, I know you do good things with it 😊

Great insight on taking control of life's wheel. Entrepreneurs, remember that the Pareto Principle applies here too; 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. Focus on the key actions that drive your business forward and take the wheel in those areas first.

Happy to hear that you just paid him and let him go. He could have gotten crazy with you, sounds like drugs. What a shame to put lives in danger and then to proceed only to have an accident. I worry everyday while driving about the speed and nonsense that I see on the East Coast. Why can't people slow down and enjoy the ride. I do feel in control but always think that life needs some fine tuning. Great info and thanks for sharing. So sorry to have that experience on a rainy night

Hi Ed! I really need to know the answer on this question. What is the difference between people who stick to their change and people who drift back to their old habits and patterns? There is your dad, who stopped drinking for 15 years or Brendon Burchard who stopped with negativity and today is completely different person and helps other people get better lifes. And How do you know that person standing next to you really means words he/she is saying. Let's say you don't know well that person. Could be dating or business partner. btw: I am a people pleaser. Thank you so much for your content and for everything you did for me and other people watching it. I don't know a better person than you

And some old story CAN continue because the person driving IS still severely harming another's life. Most people NEVER talk about that. When you're dealing with the SAME type of human being who gave you that SHORT horrific ride try dealing with someone like that for over six years on a DAILY basis. Could you get that taxi driver to STOP? NO you couldn't.

It’s subconscious behavior. How do you change it? That’s still up for debate. I think what happens in the 1st five years of your life is going manifest itself in your life for the rest of your life. I think if you’re one of the lucky ones who knows exactly what it was that made you what you are today, you have a chance at fixing it. Unfortunately most of us can’t remember some seemingly insignificant event that occurred in our childhood that altered our psyche to this day. I think, just my uneducated opinion, if you stay mindful of what your doing and how your thinking, create the right habits that push you towards the person you want to be, stay consistent with it, over time you will alter your subconscious to behave the way you want it to behave. In other words you have to brainwash yourself. This is why it’s so important for you to give your children a stable upbringing. Remember, they are watching you.

Some ads are normal but this was too many, I agree. Please bear with me while I get this fixed with my new podcast partner. This wasn’t my doing.

@@EdMylettShowTrue ownership right here. Although I think that original comment is silly (just buy youtube premium if you’re that annoyed by ads).

It is the ads Ed is doing himself in the video that we are talking about, not the outside KZbin ads that have always been there.

I agree…why do we now have to listen to ads in your content. Already paying for Premium KZbin and now you have ads. I feel things are changing and not for the better. I hope Ed remains true to who he presents himself to be. Does he really need more money?

The original comment is plain goofy. People can’t be this soft…

The ads are very necessary…it’s called collaboration… You obviously know nothing about marketing so back off the millionaire man!!

I got 18 mins in and now I'm leaving because of all the ads you're doing in the podcast. Sorry, but I'll think twice before listening again.

I understand. In this day and age, most of the popular podcasts have ads. Ed’s content is worth the wait and I appreciate all the time and effort he puts into it.

The infomercial style was terrible. I don't mind while listening on Spotify, but now on KZbin too. I couldn't even follow the storyline. Sorry Ed, but if moving forward you're going this route, gonna have to unfollow.
