Somehow every word made sense. For all the bad stuff that comes with a more connected, social media driven world, this is something positive. The brotherhood of fishermen… of outdoorsmen… is truly universal. This video made me smile. Thank you.

I suggest maybe trying variations of Clove Hitch knots. Lots of knot tying there, that looked sloppy and frustrated. There are better knots that are strong and easier to untie when unpacking.

Why the light action fishing poles? I understand for convenience and ease considering traveling via kayak but sooner or later seems you will inevitably hook a fish that will break the pole and strip the gears out of it! I’ve personally had this happen! I would at least have one 5-6 ft medium action rod and reel for 4-8 pounders!
