Are you really expecting a college age and "educated" woman to listen to anything a man has to say? Honestly? The world and internet has an overabundance of these "strong and independent" westernized feminist type women. Its not even close to a stretch of the imagination the she wouldnt want to deal with the consequences of her actions. He said "no," she said "you can't tell me what to do" and she lost her eye and couldnt bear to live with the "i told you so" she would feel for the rest of her life because she was too arrogant to listen. Again. The internet is full of mid-20s and older women constantly screaming on social media about how they shouldve listened to the men around them when they gave advice on anything and how feminism scammed them. But what do I know...Im just a man who regularly deals with women every day.

Rule 1: from 8:15-8:30 (i might be wrong about the time) close your eyes, or you will lose one Rule 2: At noon, the second sun will appear, do not look at it, or you will lose an eye Rule 3: dont look at the birds for long. They will steal your eye Rule 4: If your reflection doesn't look right, break the reflection, or it will steal your eye Rule 5: Dont look into the eyes of the eyeless, or you must give them your eye. I don’t get what rule 5 is since you have an eye doctor breaking it all the time? What eyes of the eyeless? the glass eyes? the holes?
@Astraeaa__9 ай бұрын
the holes, the doctor treats people who still have on eye
@choppsticc6 ай бұрын
It means don’t look into the eye sockets of the “people” (not even sure if they’re people because they made it seem as if they weren’t) who lost both of their eyes. You can treat someone who has just lost one eye though, but I’m assuming losing both eyes makes it so you’re not “you” anymore, which is probably why he said “you’re not him” when he was talking to eyeless-Demarcus or whatever his name was.

Ingrained “don’t break the mirror because bad luck”, respect for someone else’s house, panic/shock, and the fact this is probably the first time she’s ever actually seen a rule break in action. That had a lot of potential, and it was really good still, maybe I’m just used to knowing the rules before they’re broken and it’s a sort of formatting for the rules stories that has become the standard. This one didn’t follow that and instead told them when it was already too late, which gave me a sort of frustration when you knew that something had been broken but had no idea what or why. So I can’t say that I loved the design of the story, but I did like the parts had they been in a different format. Of course if they were to all follow that same pattern every time, eventually it’s going to lose its momentum and we’ll get plain tired of the “rules format” until it is changed to something different. I just don’t think that this is quite it. Props for taking the chance though, definitely so!

So Why would this Town let any outsiders into it? Its not like the other Rules stories where you have to go to a certain place and not break the rules the rules are everywhere and you couldn't expect everyone from outside to follow them which would result in so many Maiming and deaths that the town would be shut down as a Safety to public health. I love these rules stories but they need to have at least some Logic to them.
