I’m living right now with a severe chronic illness that’s been really bad this year but worsened this summer leading to a few hospitalizations (one on study abroad, causing me to leave 4 days into it when it was my first time out the states, and again in the states). So far I haven’t improved with any of the new meds, so I’ve been stuck inside for the past 2 months. This video really hits home. As an extrovert who plays sports daily when healthy, the life adjustment to being stuck at home and weak has been depressing to say the least. There is a difference from isolating yourself from social media, verses not having actual human contact. The lack of human contact is the most crucial, since sadly we can keep hopping on social media and interact, or at least occupy ourselves. Aside from you cleaning house, you had other opportunities to do more constructive things. I’m sure projects that interest you would help pass the time. As an artist I relish the moments I have in solitude, while creating works of art. But I bask in the gathering of people, so that I can unwind, and actually communicate with living beings. It’s so refreshing! Maybe you will find a balance. It sure couldn’t hurt to do the challenge again, but this time keep social media at a minimum, while finding other things to do. You may surprise yourself. I enjoyed the video!❤❤

If you are stuck at home, you could still work out!! That's no excuse! But you gotta take even bigger care about your diet because you probably gonna sit a lot through that period. Proper diet is the most important thing IMO, and you gotta do it the right way. It's 100% dedication to it. I am currently trainin at home cause gyms are closed in my town. The meal plan I'm following is from Dietarize. I lost 5lbs in 4 weeks (mostly fat, but some water for sure). I like its flexibility and simplicity. The worst thing about living a lonly life is that you think that your entire life has no meaning and you start feeling suicidal but you did not experience any of that because you knew that the challenge would not last forever and that it would only last for one week.

This was actually sooo entertaining! And if you think about it, Joe was just talking to his camera all day long! If you asked me, I would’ve denied any offer to try this!

I guess this challenge would be tough for extroverts but as an introvert I can say that I really enjoy being alone and doing things that I love and there's no one to tell me what to do or judge me. I have gone weeks without human contact with relative ease besides going to the super market.

It's worst if you're at home because the inside world will make you suffocate. It would be better if you are in the wilderness. Rent a cabin and enjoy nature, the morning sun, humming birds, a bath in the lake, the clear stars in the night sky, the sound of a peaceful night, etc. I'm introvert and I don't mind having no human contact because I have pets and have my own world in writing novels where I can explore the unseen worlds. However, being at home will suffocate you. Our hours win the city don't have a garden so it's suffocating and makes me less productive, but when I'm in the province I could finish a book with 200k words in 2 months.

i did this for about a month and if i’m honest it wasn’t too bad. i went everyday just working on myself wether it be doing workouts at home, watching cartoons or even just reading. i highly recommend it. (if cartoon counts as “contact” keep in mind that i didn’t even watch cartoons until my last 8-9 days of the month) i only did it because i feel like social media really messes someone up when you’re on it 24/7. ive gotten rid of it and haven’t been happier since
