Underpaid. But then again, at those lounges, some of those people are pretty strict on letting people in. I remember in one airport, I went into the lounge (I have a United elite card for work not to mention sometimes I'll fly Business or First class, so I get access to the lounge in many airports) but I remember one time when I went in for about 30 minutes, left for about 10 minutes (to use the restroom and visit a gift shop in the airport, and the same "security" person at the lounge asked to see my ID, even though they had just checked it 30 minutes prior -- it was the same person.

Imagine if any airport employees watched this video. A whole bunch of people attempting this scam would be getting caught left and right. Plus, it sounds uncomfortable even though stories like this are kind of interesting. It's still a foolish thing to do, though. Also, he missed the whole point of "The Terminal". The man who lived in the airport didn't plan on doing that on purpose. He was under special circumstances, where he had no other choice and if he really paid attention to the story he would've known that.

You can stay in the airport for as long as you like & the cops typically dont bother you for the most part. Only time you may be asked to leave is if they're doing some type of maintenance or if there's a bomb scare.
