Heya Preston! We met on the train-I was the short redhead that was usually hanging out with Cassie and her partner. :) You are *so lucky* to have been on this particular train. I've ridden it a couple more times since this journey (since I don't fly, I take the train everywhere) and they were not nearly as magical of an experience. Getting to ride The Canadian with so few people onboard, and with such amazing folks like Cassie and crew, was so fantastic. It'll never be the same! I'm so happy that you captured the magic of this particular ride on The Canadian for us all to either remember, or experience vicariously for the many, many viewers you have that weren't onboard!
@prestongoes2 ай бұрын
Tanya!!!! Wow I’m so glad you found me! What a delight to see this comment pop up :) super cool to hear how special that ride was from your perspective as well! I feel like we will all remember that one for a long time. Give the Canadian a hug from me the next time you ride 🫡

A tip from a biologist Canadian, when breathing in the cold do your best to do so through your nose as it is has specialized structures to heat up and moisten the air as it goes into your lungs. As well on the way out it conserves water. (That's why your nose drips in the cold!)

Taking what could be a weird thing (having a camera on fellow travelers) and turning it into something appreciated by all because you documented a beautiful journey is something not so easily accomplished. Your kind spirit and sense of humor really makes you the hero we want to follow in this story and I thank you for sharing it so well with such a fun video. Your songs are so awesome.
