I'll be sharing my experience of spending time with the Hmong tribe in the remote areas in Vietnam. In this video I had the pleasure of seeing how they work, planting rice and maintaining the rice fields. I've learned about how hardworking the men and women of the Hmong tribe are, their culture, and explored the stunning landscapes that surrounded us. We've also caught and prepared a duck for dinner! You'll see firsthand how these incredible people live their daily lives and how they have adapted to their unique environment.

How those women still have a back doing that to the rice all day long, is beyond me. Impressive resilience!

Harry's videos are really great, no matter the theme, content, and dialogue are full of human spirit! Every time Harry goes to a different country, he can deeply experience the local culture, which is rarely watched in other KZbinrs' travel videos! This kind of excellent quality video is not inferior to the programs of TLC channel at all, I hope everyone can help share Harry's videos! I am very happy to watch the whole rice planting process this time, living in a modern city, I have completely lost this memory! The people of the Hmong tribe still maintain their traditional culture, which is really rare and worthy of respect! The local landscapes are indeed amazing, and I can feel that the local air quality must be very good! Thanks a lot to that cow for all the hard work that made this video amazing, and thanks to Harry for your hard work and sharing! 👍🥰🙏

No he is not. Living with the Hmong and calling it real Vietnam is like living with Pakistan in London and calling it real Britain. The Hmong themselves were refugees in Vietnam since the 18th century. They originated from Southern China.

A stateless group of people that saved the entire country of Vietnam from Imperialist China most definitely needs such accolades. They continue today, sustaining Vietnam's tourism industry as well as economic stability in Northern Highlands. These gentle warriors did all this and such was held in high esteem from Ho Chi Minh as well as the current government 🇺🇸🙏🫶❤

You're amazing, Harry, and the way you tried to do their job is very admirable. You are a unique vlogger. In every country you visit, you always try to live with local families to see how they live and how they survive everyday life. You must be very happy because even though you can always have a luxury vacation, you choose to try to experience that kind of hard life, which is to be simple and happy, and that is a great experience for you. The family where you stay is very lucky to have a guest like you. Always Take care, and God bless.❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

Most westerners come to Vietnam and want to see life in unspoiled places. So, many tourists come to the North of Vietnam and people here learn English to trade and communicate. Westerners don't like city life because it's too boring. that s my point.

How long did the whole process of clearing the land take? That's how agricultural areas in Asia are, they still use manual labor instead of tractors, etc same in some areas in the Philippines. Makes you appreciate the rice you're eating. That's rural life. It's so nice for you Harry to experience the process of planting rice. They also raise livestock for food coz the market is far. No names for them😢.
