I often wonder what would have happened at Man Utd if Moyes had kept René Meulensteen as his deputy. René was a great buffer between the Manager and the players and the players loved him. Sir Alex recommended Moyes for a good reason. His backroom staff underwhelmed the players. Ferdinand and Giggs were sharpening their knives as soon as Moyes came in. René would have helped with the transition. If anything, Moyes is genuine and as a Man Utd fan, I always wish him the best.👍
