People talk about his achievements at Forest because its one of the greatest underdog stories in football history. When brian clough took over at Forest, Forest were at the bottom of the 2nd division and as a club very poor financialy. In his 1st season he got them promoted to the 1st division, in his 2nd they won the league, in his 3rd they won the European cup, In his 4th they retained the European cup. Hollywood couldn't even beat that and its 100% true. Brian clough was also a working class man from Yorkshire he was one of us.

Pep can only manage and work with technical players. He couldn't manage teams like Forest or Stoke with average and slightly above average players with just a few good players as well and win league titles and European cups lol. Thats why I tend to prefer mourinho over pep, because atleast mourinho won European cups with less favourable teams in Porto and Inter Milan. who at the time were good teams but not teams who were expected to win European cups.

We know that a lot from the past has been greatly exaggerated, and stories that people have gone into great depth about, have actually turned out to be false... I think people just put a fake aura around this man, when really he was a bit of a weird little pisshead

The only stories that have been exaggerated are from Dean Saunders the rest are true. He had his drink problems at the end of his career but he wasn't before that.
