Stations can be lonely. Especially about midnight. Roads at night can be lonely driving. Motels of lost companions, . . . playing jazz. Lonesome hallways, corridors, and bars. Lonely jobs using industrial cleaning machines on shop floors at 3.27am Lonely McDonalds 4.36am Lonely motorways, lonely bridges over motorways Lonely park benches . . . . Sounds of lonely distant car alarms That's the way it goes Sometimes.
