Sharon, you make the most beautiful soap! Time and time again I am drawn in by the vivid, saturated colors and the designs, not realizing until seconds later that I'm looking at yet again one of your creations. I hope to get into soap making in the next few weeks...I've ordered most of my start up supplies except for colorants. Do you mind telling me what colors you used in the "red flare", "thorns and roses" and "Ill fly away" soaps? I want to make sure that I'm choosing pleasing colors before I actually order the colorants. Thank you continue to creating beauty!!!

+Kellie Roberts Thanks Kellie! I used Pink, Green Neon colors for the I'll Fly Away soaps and also Pink Neon in the Thorns and Roses soap. The red flare was a Red Mica that is no longer available through Workshop Heritage. And I used TD an Black. I premix my mica colorants. I use 1 Tsp of Mica to 1 TBS of Distilled Water. Good Luck!

I very much enjoyed your method that I purchased the e-book. I made a couple of batches before the e-book was available. Some failed. The book answered a number of questions and success every time thereafter. I use both cold and hot process and will continue to to do so, but I can't quite get the wonderful colors you achieve. Will you share where you purchase your colorants?

Hi Sharon, I bought your digital book on SJHP/SBHP and I had a question. I did everything according to directions and it turned out right but I had a problem while blending where it vocanoed a lot out of the bowl and I mean bad. Was that because I stirred when I adding the lye because when I read after the fact Do Not Stir? I panicked! Missed my toes luckily. God was watching out for men. Lol!
