Well you cant really win Dvz but I saw people sort of winning. It was the last shrine and the last dwarf died so the three heroes were left who were all paladins. Apparently they spent most of the starting time and the first shrine stage collecting gold so at the end shrine they were stacked. All the monsters kind of gave up until the Nisovin hero left. In the end the other heroes took of their armour to end it. 3:17:00 was the game time. Thirty minutes the first two shrines and frickin two hours and forty seven minutes the last one. So if all the monsters would have left completely then all their gold would have lasted longer and the armour could be repaired forever-ish! Maybe the Dwarves can win?

i decided to share my zombie build, it got 20 dwarfs killed in 13 matches: tough flesh to 5 --> rapid regen 1-3 (to counter the bows early game) --> raw power to 5 --> vampirism 1-3 (MUST HAVE, zombies need to be able to tank!) --> broken pick 1 (only if there are no good creepers) --> pursuit 1-2 (does a lot) --> max atk and def --> leap 1 --> max vampirism --> max out pursuit --> max rebirth (get vampirism before regen if you die mid-late game) and then you just buy upgrades to get to the final upgrade i have more dwarf kills as a zombie then creepers as a dwarf, this usually works and you should be a real pain in the ass.

I've never played DvZ before so excuse the noob question, but how are you supposed to win as the dwarves? Is there a set time limit you need to protect the walls for? Or do you have to get a certain amount of mob kills or something? Because the way it looks here it seems like eventually the Zombies are gonna win every time.

that's the beauty of DvZ, you are always on the winning team because you eventually become a monster and the monsters always win. *edit - someone else said that Rob described it as an RPG that follows a storyline. this epic battle gets played out over and over but in the end the Dwarves can't change the fact that they lose.
