In regards to the Addams, I remember seeing somewhere that they're not actually just a family of really morbid "normal" people. They're "Irregulars" I believe, which also includes all the different monster species at the school, as well as people like Cousin It. While the Addams look more or less normal compared to other Irregulars, one of the things they have in common is that they're extremely hardy, and very difficult to kill, similar to werewolves. That's why you always see Wednesday and Pugsly "playing" with electric chairs and chainsaws for fun, or Gomez's love of explosives. Those kind of things can't kill them, so it's just entertainment to them. In the movies, you see in the graveyard scenes that their ancestors that were actually killed all had pretty extreme measures taken to actually kill them, like burning at the stake or being torn apart by villagers. Being electrocuted or standing near an explosion is just a thrilling time to them.

The whole thing about Bryan Cranston is the fact that if Bryan Cranston, the real life actor, exists in the MCU then that probably means that the Godzilla (2014) movie, starring Bryan Cranston, also exists as a fictional movie within the MCU, but the dillemma here is that Elizabeth Olsen is in that movie, but she plays as Wanda so she can't be in the Godzilla movie. It's just basically a very stretched out plothole solely about the existence of a certain movie with a certain actor that connects to another actor and another tv show. It's not even an easter egg, the guy just made it up as a joke for the pitch meeting. You should definitely react to more pitch meetings lol

Speaking of that Godzilla "easter egg." In Endgame... when they are listing time travel movies, they bring up Hot Tub Time Machine... which features Sebastian Stan.... Which means, either that movie is an alternate reality version with a different actor... there is a MCU Sebastian Stan but one that looks nothing like our World's Sebastian Stan, OR, that one of Bucky's missions took him deep under cover as a actor playing a 80's ski enthusiast.

the idea behind the actors being in other movies is if Brian Cranston is a person in this universe, and he is an actor. He did movies with Elizabeth Olsen, so does Scarlet Witch watch movies with herself in them? And her dead brother was also in that movie, so does Scarlet recognise that her dead brother was acting. Maybe an actor was playing her brother

Wandavision is what got me back into the MCU after I fell off with Age of Ultron in 2015 simply because of Quicksilver as i'm a massive X-Men fan. So it has a special place in my heart and I was not really effected by how different it felt to the MCU as it was years since I watched any MCU related project. MCU needs more stuff like that with Werewolf by Night being another example of something I adored. Hopefully James Gunn does this was DC as well just give us a connected universe but allow projects to stand out with their own style and tone instead of falling into a formula. But 100% Wandavison had so many theorises from X-Men showing up to the possibility of this being our introduction to Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. But hey Marvel fans be like that just overhyping every detail and then get upset when it doesn't happen.

@@Smido83 1) The MCU has always had a lot of bad stuff too. It boggles my mind how people have such strict nostalgia goggles for Phase 1-3 while nitpicking every single thing about Phase 4. The MCU was a mixed bag before, it's a mixed bag now. 2. The best stuff in the MCU was Daredevil, Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter, Jessica Jones, and Cloak and Dagger. Just sayin'.
@Smido83 Жыл бұрын
@@northwindkey Like "The little Platoon" rightfully said: "Ahm NO? Even the worst Movies of Phase 1-3 were 100 times better then everything Disney produced after Endgame!" He explains it extremely well over 5 minutes. Although the movies had flaws (some more, some less), they made you feel something and had universal themes. Noone said they were perfect and every Movie was a banger, but Civil War, Guardians 2, Ragnarok, Infinity War, Endgame were overall 10 times better then everything produced in Phase 4. And if he stopped after Ultron and started with Wandavision again, he missed all of that!

The whole point of the Adams Family was that they looked weird, but underneath they were perfectly normal people. This show destroyed all that, because they wanted to create another Vampire Academy thing, but didn't have faith in people liking it. So they attached Wednesday to it, to pull in an existing fan base, absurdly turning her family into the X-Men. A bit like what Stephanie Meyers did with Twilight.

Yeah, i didn't watched Wednsday till the end, it just wasn't good for me. The thing about the Addams Family is, they are weird when they are between "normal" people, but when they are in Hogwarts or Salvatore School .. they are not special anymore and so i liked the first 5 minutes, with the piranhas in the "normal" school, that was fun, that was what i expected and wanted to see more. But for what it was i rather watch "Legacies", there the main character was at least a tribrid to stand out over all the other supernatural beeings.

I’ve always seen Wednesday as simply a different interpretation of the Addams Family. Like Wednesday may talk big about morbid stuff, but at her core when it comes to people she cares about or is connected to she hates the idea of them being hurt. Which is a theme in most Addams Family content. When someone threatens the “family unit” is when they come together and also reveal their truer selves.
@yiledute Жыл бұрын
That is only a theme in the more serialized interpretations of the Addams Family, at their core they are supposed to be Newspaper type of cartoons that comment on the normalcy of the "current" times. They are supposed to be outcasts and unintentionally make fun of what we consider common sense and normal.

If actors appear in shows that is also a show they are currently appearing in then that means that the person who is a character is either also still that actor within that universe or they have a twin who is an actor.
