Between rejecting erosion and holding egg forever, this one left me scratching my head.

Egg was feeding Swashbuckler, selling it would have lost a ton of mult. And Erosion was a bad play (imo) because it wasn't a whole lot more mult and was eternal, meaning it would have cut off his use of that slot for a much-needed xMult or chip joker. If we're backseating, I think he held on to Trading Card too long. With no chip jokers and not a lot of planet upgrades, chips were sorely needed-- even an Ice Cream or something in that slot a few rounds earlier would have probably helped a lot

I think you needed to sell your egg at that point (could call it a fabregé egg with how much it was worth!) and get another joker to boost your score.

That had me so confused that I double-checked that egg wasn't eternal.

Most of the mult was coming from Egg -> Swashbuckler
