Gibbs totally. Bubba’s a good dude, and gets along with almost all the other drivers, but he just needs to keep his emotions in check. Gibbs has already gotten into a lot of scuffles and he’s a lot younger than Bubba. Bubba has also never wrecked a teammate, especially not for the win, from my understanding.

Ty Gibbs will get his comeuppance in the cup series, or at least I sure as hell hope he does. He didn't even make an effort to hit his braking mark, he just used the #19 as his brakes. Letarte said it right, he hit him so hard it buckled the hood lol. He easily could've won this race without doing what he did, could've given Brandon a light tap and pushed him up the track. That's the sort of stuff you expect at short tracks and is totally fair game. Completely sending a guy because you don't brake for the corner is something else entirely, and isn't surprising at all for how Ty Gibbs carries himself, and the utter lack of respect he shows for the sport and the other competitors. I can't fucking stand the guy anymore. He's like the quintessential spoiled rich kid that thinks the world revolves around him because he has some talent. If his last name was anything other than Gibbs, he'd probably be in the ARCA series. The thing that boggles my mind is how Joe Gibbs is gonna tolerate this one now after all the previous drama. Not only did you intentionally wreck a teammate... but JGR could've had another driver & car in the final playoff round, which Ty was already locked in for. As an organization, I don't know how you square that or sweep it under the rug merely because Ty Gibbs is family. That's a huge deal. And I can't say enough about how much class and maturity Brandon Jones showed in the post-race. He has every right to be fucking LIVID. I'm sure it just reaffirms his decision even further to move over to JRM.

Jones MADE THE CHAMPIONSHIP 4, were it not for Gibbs dumping him on the last lap. If Jones was Tony Stewart, 5 minutes after the race, Gibbs would be laying semi-conscious in a pool of blood on the frontstretch with fans throwing beer cans at him. That CERTAINLY should have happened to him. NASCAR should communicate to Jones this week that at Phoenix, he has freedom to "do what he thinks is necessary" to Gibbs to ensure the season ends with Gibbs regretting this dirtbag move.
